Staff was knowledgeable. Menu items are marked gluten free and a nice selection. The manager brought out my food. I’ve never had issues. One of my favorite places to eat. I just wish they had gluten free bread and a good dessert option. I now stop at sublime cupcakes which is close by and grab a cupcake to bring in with me.
Son has Celiac and has been able to eat here many times. They have a lot of GF dining options.
Staff was very helpful and cognizant of my nit allergy and celiac. I ordered items listed as gluten free friendly on the menu without issue and it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Steak, mashed potatoes, spinach salad.
Stopped today after some shopping thanks to my “Find Me Gluten Free” app. Service was excellent with a very friendly staff. Food was delicious and served in a most reasonable amount of time. This is a 5 star for sure and will stop again when we are back in the area.
Food was delicious!! Items that were either GF or could be made GF were marked on the menu. Our server was knowledgeable and, for the couple questions she couldn't answer, made sure to ask the manager. After placing my order, she notified the manager who confirmed my order with the kitchen staff and came out to confirm with me that my meal would be prepared in a separate area and or with cleaned/sanitized utensils and pots/pans. +24hours later and I feel fine! Will definitely be returning.
The waitress was new and asked a lot of good questions. The manager and staff ensured all kitchen staff was aware and my meal was absolutely amazing! They have many options and they looked at all ingredients on salad dressing and BBQ sauce. We will be back!
I must say that I felt like this place took my food sensitivities more seriously than any other place that I have been. Was trying to avoid gluten, dairy and some other things as well and they made sure that I was able to get steak and veggies that were safe. Now I will say that I was given take out and even though I requested specifically a gluten-free meal, there was bread in the bag oh, so I guess I need to take a star off for that. Dine in and you'll be safer. This will be an expensive splurge meal though, but DELICIOUS.
Extensive options already noted on the menu. The manager brought my food and made a point to give the “gluten allergy” plate out first. Little gestures like that go a long way!
The food I ate tasted good and they appeared very accommodating. They told me which items I could not eat from the appetizers my companions ordered. I ate some of the deviled eggs which they said were handled for allergy and then had a spinach salad with no dressing. I added grilled salmon and used vinegar and oil as my dressing. They said all the right things and I thought I would be ok, but about 1 hour after my meal I was sick. Thankfully, it only lasted a couple of hours. I would hesitate to try this location again.
Kitchen staff had trouble with simple requests like how I requested my steak cooked and what I ordered on my baked potato (got both wrong). Server was very casual about my gf requests. Not at all confident in their handling of my meal. Got sick, symptoms started ~hour after meal.
May 22, 2019. Ate here for lunch. Excellent GF menu choices and kitchen/servers were well trained. Interestingly, our server also had Celiac's disease. She was a great resource for what was safe to eat. Highly recommend!
Great food and service! The menu is clearly marked for gluten free selections. The server was knowledgeable about celiac needs. The food was DELICIOUS. We will stop there anytime we are in the area.
Waitstaff was really attentive, gluten free was clearly marked on their menu, and the food was delicious (I didn't know a baked potato could taste any better than any other baked potato but theirs was somehow greater than any other I've had. It was magic?).
Excellent food, great staff. Highly recommended.
Separate menu with a lot of options. Had a blt salad with shrimp. Served by the manager who confirmed it was prepared gf. Server was not as knowledgeable... asked if I’d like bread after ordering gf and then stopped coming by.
They have an extensive GF menu and the food was very good. Our waiter was knowledgeable about GF prep and told me that the kitchen staff change gloves when prepping a GF meal. It’s been 24 hours and I haven’t had any cross contamination symptoms, so I guess I love this place.
A go to restaurant for me! GF menu, and knowledge servers. The kitchen staff will work with other dietary needs as well. Website has a very good allergen tool as well. Not a dedicated gf kitchen but have eaten here without problem many times.
Staff was knowledgeable and took great care to ensure GF. Have been there several times and it’s always a good experience
Most staff very knowledgeable, as is management. They have careful protocol for preparation and the cook/chef brings g.f. dishes out separately. Excellent food with excellent customer service.
There were several GF options. Our waitress flagged our order so it would be handled with care. The manager even stopped by our table to let us know the kitchen was aware we were GF and handling it as needed. It was very reassuring to feel they were so on top of things. The food was delicious. Great experience. Will go back for sure!
This restaurant had a separate gf menu with a wide range of options. They also let us know that they have a process in place to ensure that there was no cross contamination with non-gf food. The waitstaff was very helpful and polite and did not make us feel like asking for gf was a burden or a problem. The food was fantastic and was well worth the price. Will definitely being going back.
This restaurant is AMAZING! They have an extensive gluten free menu and have even added a gluten free dessert. The staff is knowledgeable about the gluten free options. This was one of my favorite restaurants before I had celiac and it still is!
Good food but a little loud. Had the ribs and wife had salmon. We both felt bad the next day. Not sure what caused illness but that’s all we ate that day.
Staff at Firebird's (including our brand new server) was fantastic! I had a copy of the GF menu in my hand within moments of alerting our server to my Celiac status..... and a manager (actually....two managers in two visits) came to personally explain their protocols for allergy food prep. They also explained that one of the managerd would personally be bringing my food to the table as a final vote of confidence/quality check. 16 years gluten free and I can count on one finger the number of times I have felt this heard and cared for in a restaurant..... although the Disney World folks run a very close second. (Really, truly!)
This is my first time time trying Firebirds and I was extremely nervous because the night before we went to the restaurant I looked on their menu online and they only had two or three things that were GF so I got the Colorado chicken salad it was good but there was not enough lettuce and WAY too many toppings. I also don't know why they would put all the stuff I got on my salad together it was pecans, blue cheese crumbles, cranberries, vinaigrette dressing and the lettuce of course the blue cheese crumbles tasted really weird with the pecans. it was a nice day so I decided to sit outside and eat but I could not see in the restaurant to possibly see my food.First they brought out the bread then they brought out my friends food then they brought out mine. Overall it was a good experience.
