Def a great place to have a GF breakfast. Staff is knowledgeable able what is GF and if they don’t know they will ask the chef. They do have Udi’s bread for toast but they toast it in the same toaster with everything else so Celiacs beware that there is cross contamination. But they did offer a Udi’s GF muffin that is individually wrapped for a $0.90 charge. **Update 11/21/17 They no longer have the Udi’s muffin
I moved near First Watch Clearwater on Village Road. I eat there with my family very often. I have celiac and of course I must eat gluten free. even though the choices aren't many, I do often order eggs ,ham and potatoes or grits. First Watch now offers a gluten free blueberry Uldis muffin. I order that and safe for a later snack. I come from Bayside NY and ther were absolutely no gluten free breakfast restaurants anywhere in my area. The gluten free restaurants I came across in New York we're actually in New York City which was quite distance from my home
Yes
The only options, surprise, eggs. (Nasty fake eggs) Oh and a bowl of yogurt (a lot of Celiacs are lactose intolerant so...) our server was really slow and awkward, she didn't check on us after bringing our food and both our glasses looked like they hadn't been washed, when we pointed it out, she wiped them with a rag and gave them back, WTF! I think it sucks that everything comes with a side bagel or muffin and they can't substitute like a banana or anything else so I end up with less food for the same price and hungry. I left hungry. Can a breakfast place that boasts about having gluten free options please try to offer something else then eggs and lactose or full price dishes where you can't eat 1/2 the food it comes with, thanks.
Very flavorful and fresh! Best breakfast/ cafe I've ever ate at :)
I've safely eaten at many First Watchs? First Watches? anyway... I mainly go for avocado toast, but they have many GF options on their GF menu.

Not safe, at all.
Although they offer gluten free bread, as a substitute, I opted for no bread at all. I told the server that i was gluten free.
The omelet came with toast on top.
I returned it to the kitchen. When the runner brought it back she said that luckily one just came off the grill. Given that, I told her how strange that it also came with crumbs from the last plate. THEN she asked if it was an allergy. I responded, Do I need to share my entire medical history for a breakfast, as ordered?
Long story short.. the runner lied to me, was disrespectful and was happy to gluten me.
I will not be back.

There’s an allergen menu that you have to scan on your phone. They have a dedicated GF space in the back (including a toaster). There’s a reasonable amount of stuff to order as long as you get the GF toast. I didn’t experience in cross contamination and the staff seems knowledgeable.

Several decent selections for breakfast/lunch and good safety measures. GF bread/toast available for breakfast or sandwiches, and they said can do gf French toast with it (which we haven’t tried). I asked about butter and they said gf toast always comes no-butter, which made me happy for kitchen safety. Eggs and bacon were good, and lots of gf omelet options. Grain bowls also gf using quinoa.
