They have a thorough third party allergen list. And gluten-free options and substitutes for many items. Very friendly and knowledgeable about food safety.

I used to feel safe eating here. The waitress said, we have been instructed to say we cannot guarantee your food will really be gluten free. We make no guarantees, ok? I said, "No, not ok. I can actually get a safe gluten free meal at Waffle House. They take care of me there." Her attitude makes me want to call management and explain how to keep a darn kitchen safe and how to tell your servers to speak to people to reassure them even if you can't "guarantee." Be specific if you go and talk to the manager.

Went there twice it was so good. The power bowls are awesome. Had a great experience with the wait staff both days. They made sure to note my celiac disease. Probably make at least one more stop before I head home.

Beverly, that's a paid ad by Pamela's pancake mix. It's a recipe and not an ad for the restaurant. I thought it was (also) for the restaurant until I clicked on it. I had a wonderful breakfast of eggs, avocado and fruit. I always tell the waiter wherever I eat I am gluten intolerant/Celiac and please let the chef know cross contamination will make me sick. I dined with non Celiac's who ordered with bread and we all enjoyed our meal and I am fine. We all thought it to be delightful and will go back.

Ad states best GF pancakes! First Watch does NOT carry GF pancakes or any GF bread products (which is not hard to provide). I do not consider this chain GF friendlyðŸ˜
The best breakfast for sure - fresh local ingredients! They take gluten free allergies very seriously!

Went this morning. The full site has a gluten-free guide located under menus and nutrition. The guide will instruct you how to order from the menu when ordering gluten-free. I initially couldn't find it on my phone so they printed it out for me when I got there. The server put a big square on the food slip with gluten-free on it and told me that they take their gluten-free orders very seriously. I happened to sit at a table with a view of the kitchen. I heard someone call allergy window and saw a server walk over to the sink and wash her hands and then walk back to a plate that turned out to be mine, pick it up and bring it to my table. The service was friendly and accommodating and the food was very good

I've safely eaten at many First Watchs? First Watches? anyway... I mainly go for avocado toast, but they have many GF options on their GF menu.

Not safe, at all.
Although they offer gluten free bread, as a substitute, I opted for no bread at all. I told the server that i was gluten free.
The omelet came with toast on top.
I returned it to the kitchen. When the runner brought it back she said that luckily one just came off the grill. Given that, I told her how strange that it also came with crumbs from the last plate. THEN she asked if it was an allergy. I responded, Do I need to share my entire medical history for a breakfast, as ordered?
Long story short.. the runner lied to me, was disrespectful and was happy to gluten me.
I will not be back.

There’s an allergen menu that you have to scan on your phone. They have a dedicated GF space in the back (including a toaster). There’s a reasonable amount of stuff to order as long as you get the GF toast. I didn’t experience in cross contamination and the staff seems knowledgeable.

Several decent selections for breakfast/lunch and good safety measures. GF bread/toast available for breakfast or sandwiches, and they said can do gf French toast with it (which we haven’t tried). I asked about butter and they said gf toast always comes no-butter, which made me happy for kitchen safety. Eggs and bacon were good, and lots of gf omelet options. Grain bowls also gf using quinoa.
