This was our first visit to First Watch and 3 of our 6 person group have Celiac Disease. Nia was our server and went above and beyond to ensure the safety of all in our group. We all left happy and full! They're also latex free which is a necessity for my family.

They do not have any true gluten-free options you just have to pick something that you know is safe. I’m also allergic to eggs so breakfast is a challenge. They do have gluten-free bread but they cannot toasted due to cross contamination.

I have been twice and both times my meal came out with toast on my plate even though I clearly said I had a gluten allergy and to not give me any bread. I would t order the Udi’s either bc they use the same toaster. Both times they apologized and remade the food and I did not get sick either time. The food was good. I just do not have any confidence in their ability to handle allergy/celiac or high sensitivity.

I always get the eggs and turkey sausage and potatoes anytime I go. I tell them I have a gluten allergy and I’ve never been sick after eating here. ** gluten free toast is toasted in the same toaster as regular toast. So don’t get the toast!

First time at this newly opened breakfast place. Was a little hesitant to try it since there wasn’t any reviews on it. Glad I tried it! Yum! And I did not get sick! I had the chorizo omelette and it was delicious. I did not get the GF bread, for fear that they would use the same toaster as regular bread. Will definitely be back 😍
There’s an allergen menu that you have to scan on your phone. They have a dedicated GF space in the back (including a toaster). There’s a reasonable amount of stuff to order as long as you get the GF toast. I didn’t experience in cross contamination and the staff seems knowledgeable.

Several decent selections for breakfast/lunch and good safety measures. GF bread/toast available for breakfast or sandwiches, and they said can do gf French toast with it (which we haven’t tried). I asked about butter and they said gf toast always comes no-butter, which made me happy for kitchen safety. Eggs and bacon were good, and lots of gf omelet options. Grain bowls also gf using quinoa.

Gluten free options on menu, staff asked if allergy and plate was marked as such. Found my new stop when making the trip from WV to knoxville

To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.
