I have been twice. Upon arrival they warn you that they have gluten flying around and that they have a few options but don't accomodate though their menu suggests otherwise.
-First time I spoke with a chef and ordered a GF salad with no feta/no corn (because I am nursing and baby can't have dairy or corn). It was good but the bottom of my salad, under everything else was a handful of corn. They apologized profusely and gave me a $20 GC and remade my salad.
-Second time I ordered breakfast with gluten free bread(not toasted bc no dedicated toaster). My breakfast was served with regular gluten sourdough toast on my plate and a side plate with a piece of cold gf bread. I asked the server about it and she reached over and snatched the gluten toast off my plate.
I will not be returning.

They just opened and are still getting their “flow” worked out, so service was generally pretty slow. I had a delicious turkey burger and was comfortable with the server’s knowledge and follow through
Yes
To start off, I have been to First Watch many times with and without my family (who eat gluten-free), and every single time the staff has been accommodating and very friendly.
They have plenty of gluten-free breakfast options with foods that are inherently gluten-free (eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). You can substitute any bread on the menu for gluten-free bread, including the french toast! They always ask if you have a gluten allergy to make sure the kitchen accommodates you.

I am bummed. Food was delicious but my stomach is paying bad. I told the server I was extremely allergic to gluten and she seemed understanding. I shouldn't have came here. ☹ it's things like this that make me never feel safe eating out. I know there is a warning with it being a chain but at other locations I haven't had a problem.

My daughter has Celiac and I’m gf. They prepare allergy meals in a separate area of the kitchen. She ordered gf French toast and it came out seperately and marked. Our server was very knowledgeable, but others there were not. It has now been a couple of hours since we went and my daughter and I both feel good with no signs of being glutened.

They are very considerate when I order gluten free bread for toast and inform them of my allergies. I'm sure other locations might be less kind but this one is great.
Cross contact is possible I'm sure, but I believe they car enough to make some effort

Decent brunch food. Whenever I mention gluten free they know what I'm talking about and seem to be careful. I feel a bit rushed though, they usually give us the check before we're halfway done with the food.
