My daughter is very sensitive and these guys have taken great care of her. They prepare the food out in the open so we are able to police them. Every once in a while we observe potential cross contamination, but they are always apologetic and make her a new burger. This is one of our go to places.

not gluten free. If you have nut allergies like me, it's double trouble.
No
I have ordered the hamburger with everything on it and brought my own bun. Worked out great but it's hard to bite into with the double patty they give you.
It has much improved since my review in 2013. I ordered the hamburger without bun and got it served with all the fixings in a foil bowl that I could eat with a knife and fork. Quite good. The fries are excellent--fried in peanut oil in a dedicated fryer. And. of course, we love the free peanuts!

The staff took time to graciously explain their cooking process and my burger was great ~ lettuce and all. Enjoyed the Coke machine and the peanuts.
Other than fries, there wasn't much I could eat. I was told I could get a lettuce-wrapped Burger but was handed two patties wrapped in foil. I had to ask a second time to get the lettuce.
Gluten free French Fries are good. Nothing else is fried in the oil, which I believe is peanut oil. Free peanuts in the shell are also good!! There are no gluten free buns for hamburgers or hotdogs, which completes the entire menu! Huge choice of sodas and iced teas. Refills seem to be free.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
