I eat here all the time and get fries and a burger with a lettuce wrap with no issues. Everyone is very careful about cleaning the space and changing gloves when I say I have a wheat allergy.

The fries are absolutely the best part about the meal and the service is great.

The staff was friendly, but they had no idea of what "gluten free" meant.

The employees were great about changing their gloves and preparing my lettuce wrapped burger away from the other food.
They said it was gluten free but had no knowledge of what that was and charged us full price $7 for just a hamburger patty! Would not come again. Makes for a sad kid when they think they are getting a hamburger & then all they can have is the patty 😡😡

Always ask for them to change their gloves just in case but they change them very frequently anyway. Ask for no bun-bowl or a lettuce wrap and all of the toppings are gf. Fries cooked in a frier that only cooks fries.

They have burgers in a bowl or with lettuce wrap, just ask. Great fries, which are the only thing they fry, and a cool computerized drink machine that can make 100 kinds of soda. I said " no bun, I eat gluten free" and the cashier asked me if I would like them to change gloves. It's about $12 per person for a burger, fries and a drink.
I always enjoy eating at Five Guys and never have had a gluten reaction. They have a very limited menu, which makes it easier and you can see them cook the food. They also had a veggie sandwich for vegetarians.Don't use the malt vinegar which will have barley in it if you have celiac or NCGS.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
