My husband told the person at the register we had a gluten allergy on two of the burgers we ordered. They always put them in a separate bag. When my husband got home all the burgers were in one bag and mine had cheese even after my husband said no dairy. I called the manager Avery and he said “sorry, we are so busy “ He offered to remake it, but living 20 minutes away, we just threw it in the trash. So disappointed. The places I xan safely eat at are becoming less and less. Not sure why management doesn’t take an extra 10 minutes to train employees. Grrrrr.

Very careful with cross contamination. Since you can watch as they prepare the food, it is easier to make sure they get it right. No GF bun option but burgers can be made with lettuce wrap. Dedicated fryer.

We have ordered here before and thought it was somewhat safe. Tonight we had a horrible experience. My husband went in to order and pick up. He told the person at the register that the burger was to be gf and df because his wife has an allergy. They always put mine in a separate bag because of this. He came home with one bag, and mine had cheese on it. Also touching the other burgers that had buns. When I called and talked to Avery the manger, he said “sorry we are busy” Wow!!! I will never go back in there again. Very disappointed.
He did offer to remake, but we live 20 minutes away.

my lettuce wrap Was mostly lettuce with two small half dollar pieces of. Meat. One employee was playing drums with my silverware before putting it in my bag. I have had better meals at mc Donald's for the cost and was very disappointed

I will get a burger in a bowl and fries and have never had any issues. I believe I asked about gluten free/celiac disease items awhile ago and they can do the glove change/grill wipe. They do a good job at keeping items separated regardless too.

Five Guys is always a yummy go-to for me when traveling. Fries are the only thing that go into their fryers so you can always be safe eating them. And they will make the burgers in a bowl or lettuce wrap (and the burgers are cooked on a different surface from the buns). In store when you tell them it’s an allergy they note it on the receipt and change gloves. I ordered online this time, but there’s nowhere to put notes in their system so I called the restaurant and the person took my name and said she’d note an allergy on my order that came through. Reliably tasty and easy to eat at!
