Five Guys is one of the "safe" chains we frequent! They change gloves and follow an allergy protocol and we've never gotten sick! It's nice to have somewhere that's safe to eat french fries too

The staff was so careful. I witnessed the cook change his gloves twice while preparing my food. I am so appreciative!!! Great burger and fries

I ordered a lettuce wrap and the employee immediately asked if it was an allergy. I said yes and they informed everyone else to use allergy protocol for my order. Highly recommend!
Yes
They are very accommodating with the burger without a bun and take extra steps of you tell them you have an allergy. DO NOT EAT THE FRIES!!!! I have witnessed workers taking the buns out and without changing gloves putting fries in the fryer contaminating the oil.
I love this place. I have celiac disease abd haven't gotten sick here ever. tell the person at the register that you can't have gluten and they will put it on the ticket, And the line cooks know that they need to change gloves. Also, the fries are celiac friendly! you can either get a lettuce bun or burger bowl. highly recommend!
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
