I ordered my burger in a bowl (really a small foil pan). With grilled mushrooms and onions it was delicious.
Dedicated fryer so the fries are safe to eat. Very large portions!
Be aware Five Guys is dangerous for anyone with a peanut allergy!

This Five Guys is a good once or twice a month treat for my family. We bring our own GF buns and ask for the burger in a bowl, letting them know it is for an allergy (GF and Milk allergies). The fries are the only item cooked in the fryer, so no problems there. I've never had a reaction to eating anything from any Five Guys. I just wished they would have some GF buns to go along with their burgers.
Yes
The fryer is not dedicated to fries, so the fries are not gluten free. The "gluten free" burger is a tasteless, no condiment patty wrapped in half a head of lettuce.
No
Love that we can eat the fries!
Yes
Burgers in a bowl are delicious, and the fries are GF because it's the only thing they fry. Super yummy!
The only thing they fry is French fries so no need to worry about cross contamination. Burgers served without buns and they'll change gloves and clean the work surface for you.
Not really gluten free. Offer burger w/o the bun. Fries are in the same fryer as everything else. Staff not very knowledgable.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
