Staff in not trained well for accommodating celiacs. No change of gloves or precautions taken.
No
I have celiac and am very sensitive, yet never had an issue here. Tell them you have a gluten allergy and they will write "special instruction" on the order. Fries are delicious, lettuce wrap is overrated so just get the burger in a bowl.
Yes
They claim to accommodate gluten free, but they don't change there gloves. Also, they cross contaminate everything, they put there hands in the bowls when making a regular order and touch bread and then use the same bowls for your order. If you have to be gluten free DO NOT GO here.
No
The fries are great, but sadly you shouldn't expect any variety. The burgers and hot dogs are grilled on the same equipment as their buns, so you shouldn't expect anything with more substance to be available.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
