“It tastes awesome” - per my kid. It is an easy go to and the chain seems to train the staff to change gloves etc. if you tell them to flag it for a “gluten allergy” and lettuce wrap it.

No gluten free buns but they do have lettuce wrapped buns and burger bowls. Fries are GF and when i ordered they marked it as an allergen which means they used a separate grill and changed their gloves.
Yes
They have separate grills for their burger patties and buns and if you say you are ordering gluten-free, they change their gloves. The fries are also gluten-free as they only fry fries in the fryer. You can get the burger wrapped in lettuce or in a tin.
Yes
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
