I am gluten intolerant (very horribly, I have very little, to no, tolerance at all for it really) Anyways, I went in and ordered the bacon cheese burger with a regular fry. Everything tasted great! The fryer is exclusively for the french fries so they are definitely a win for us here in this community! The two workers on shift both changed their gloves for me before making my sandwich and rapping it in a lettuce wrap (without me asking to add). The end meal was bagged separately from my boyfriends, who is not intolerant lol, which made me feel a lot safer about eating my meal as well. I’d recommend for anyone with an intolerance but I’d probably look into it more if you’re celiac!

Great experience. They changed their gloves and pushed our lettuce wraps far from the buns.

Dedicated fryers are easy here because their menu is limited. All they fry are French fries. They’ll keep the Cajun seasoning well away though if you’re GF. They are very informed and take all the proper precautions. I love getting a bunless burger in the tin and eating fresh fries on top of it.
Yes
I heard they were gluten friendly by many people...when I placed my order I asked for GF and he asked if it was allergic to it? I told him I have CD and he announced to the staff and they pleasantly cleaned if an area and cooked my mouth-watering burger! If you can eat iceberg lettuce (I can't) they will wrap the burger in lettuce or they will place it in an aluminum sealed tray! I'm beyond excited that I never got sick!!

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
