Staff was very responsive towards my request, I did have to explain which is totally normal, and the man taking my order had yelled out to everyone to clean their hands and change gloves which was very nice. Everything was great, I did have a small reaction but I think it was a cross contamination between my husbands and my food. Overall I’d love to eat there again š

This is one of the better five guys I've been to. The shift manager reminds employees to change gloves and not touch other orders until mine was completed. I never usually have a problem but another location closer to the strip gave me a lettuce wrap with bun crumbs all over it (they fixed it and were nice about it, but I had to explain CC to them). I usually order a burger with lettuce wrap and Cajun fries. Love that five guys is always available as a safe option when travelling

At first the server was unsure about a gluten allergy, so he grabbed a more experienced worker to talk to me. That man was so kind and explained their allergy protocol to me very well. He took the time to explain how everything is prepared and gave me an ingredient list/allergy menu to look at as well! They also have an allergy button at the register and take the proper precautions; changing gloves and separate from other meals etc.
They absolutely knew what they were doing when it comes to celiac disease! They have a dedicated fryer and the only thing that goes in it are the french fries that they cut and peel on site, no ingredients other than potatoes, salt, and oil. All of the bread is kept in a different area of the kitchen and the gluten-free bread is kept wrapped in packaging in a different area. They told me all of the options for making my meal gluten free which made this a great experience!

Management here is wonderful about training employees on allergen safety. On our last visit, we actually witnessed a new employee being trained on allergen procedures, and they were extremely diligent about preventing cross-contamination. I make sure to specify my “gluten allergy” and my item is clearly marked on my ticket. Bun alternatives include a burger bowl or lettuce wrap, and in my opinion they have mastered the lettuce wrap compared to other burger joints in the area (never falls apart, and an adequate amount of fresh crisp lettuce). French fries are the only thing they fry, and are fried in peanut oil. They’re also careful about packing my food separately from my non-GF husband. They are consistent and thorough, a great choice for a quick eat.

When we need a burger, we go here. A LOT. They don’t have GF buns but they’ll make any burger in a bowl, and they don’t use their fryers for anything other than French fries so no worries about cross contamination. Our Celiac kid loves it, hasn’t gotten sick from eating here even once.
