Because they have no fried chicken, you don't have to worry about cross contamination on the fries. It was so nice to be able to enjoy a (lettuce wrapped) burger and fries with my husband. According to their online allergen list, the only things in the place that contain gluten are the buns and a couple shakes. If you are celiac, you will need to ask them to change gloves bc of other people's buns, but I am only gluten intolerant and did not have an obvious reaction.
Staff I questioned did t even know what celiac or gluten free was. Looked at me like I was crazy. Finally manager exhibited some awareness, not enough to make me comfortable with a Celiac positive child.
Always reliable, always. You can get your burger in a bowl or, even better in my humble opinion, a lettuce wrap. Enough layers of iceberg for stability. Yum.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
