Every time we come here they tell us how safe they are with the food and how serious they take cross contact. I usually get a burger w/ lettuce wrap but you can get it in the bowl as well. the kitchen yells out glove change and utensil change. They will also clean the shake machine if you want a shake. Fries are the only item in the fryer. No gf buns.

Who else likes mayo with fries? Just me? @fiveguys has gluten free fries. They don’t have gf buns, but they can do a lettuce wrap. When I ordered a burger with no bun, she asked if it was preference or allergy (thank you!). Good gf fast food choice. Taste: 3/5. Cross contamination: minimal. Service: 5/5. Knowledge of gf: 5/5.

We have 3 celiac people in our family. Both times we have eaten here they have been great with changing gloves and utensils. We order burgers with no buns and fries. They have let us bring in our own bread also.

If you want a great burger and fries this is it. Gluten free is a lettuce wrap but with a large selection of Gluten Free toppings as well as an always friendly & knowledgeable staff that takes extra care for the Gluten sensitive. The fries are excellent!
They don't put anything breaded in the fryer for their Fries as they only serve Burgers, hot dogs, & fries. They're knowledgeable about Gluten & while they cannot guarantee anything, they do make a concerted effort. I always get my "meat" in a "bowl" & it can be on a lettuce wrap or just in a bowl. I take my own bread or bun & have never had an issue & I get sick within moments of consuming Gluten. I LOVE the fact that they have signs up stating exactly where your food came from that day... the farm actually. Their fries (Five Guys style) are literally just potatoes cut up, fried in Peanut Oil, & have salt on them. I also have GERD & don't have an issue w their beef when it comes to this like I do every other burger, etc I've ever consumed! My babies are GF as well & have never had an issue! We love this place! For a burger, hot dog, a 2nd burger, large & regular fries, we've never spent more than $25.00, absolutely LOVE that part as well!!! It's reasonably cheap, filling, & besides bread, I can eat exactly what my family does without any issues. Again, no dedicated menu, but they make a huge effort when you tell them you have a "bread allergy"! LOVE FIVE GUYS!!!!

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
