Have had the fries here multiple times without getting sick. The burgers are gluten-free either without a bun or with a lettuce wrap, a bit expensive, but I haven’t gotten sick off of them either.

Glutened on vacation. Cashier was notified of gluten allergy at the start of the order. There was no glove change made or allergy tag added to the receipt. I ordered a hamburger bowl. There was a sesame seed on top of the bowl’s aliuminum foil cover, which I should taken as a bad omen.

Great burgers and fresh cut fries. The only gluten is in the buns and maybe a few extras. They do a great job of wrapping the burger with lettuce and foil. If you have a peanut allergy don’t go.

We usually get the burger in a bowl. The cashier always asks if it’s because of an allergy so that the staff knows wether to switch gloves. The food is delicious and such a great place for a French fry craving.

This place is great. I was really skeptical of the lettuce wrap but it is tasty. Be aware, the Mayo is cross contaminated. It took about three employees to clue me in on that. You can also eat the fries, which is awesome. This is my go-to fast food joint.

Staff does a great job with gluten free no matter how busy they are, and they do it with a smile which makes such a difference for me. I know it’s hard to accommodate us but they make me feel so normal! I usually get a burger bowl with whatever toppings, and fries. The fries are the only thing that go into the fryer and they use peanut oil.

The staff was very helpful! They asked if I had an allergy when I asked for my burger in a bowl. The cashier said that the kitchen staff would change gloves. Then she came to tell me that the mayo would come in contact with gluten, so I shouldn’t have it. Overall very helpful and conscientious staff!

My daughter has celiac disease and has never had an issue.
Yes
I have celiac and did not get sick. The staff made sure to ask me if mayo was ok because the nozzle of the bottle comes into contact with the buns. The only problem is that they do not have gluten free buns, so you have to get a lettuce wrap, which is still very tasty!

They always do a good job with GF. It helps to watch and remind them occasionally.

Loved this Five Guys. The staff was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and making sure everyone changed gloves as well as kept my burger totally separate!
Yes
Excellent burger! Be sure to let staff know order is for celiac.

our son has Celiac. Staff were knowledgeable and took great care to use allergy precautions to prepare his food. No GF buns available. Fryer is dedicated to fries only and GF. our son is very sensitive and did not get sick. The food was really good too. I must add that if you have peanut allergies stay away.
Yes
separate foil dish for burgers and hotdogs, and a dedicated fryer. I'm in!!!

Have gone here often and haven't had any reactions!
I've eaten here twice and ordered a bunless/wrap and haven't had any problems. The fries are the only thing fried in the fryer. Five Guys style is how I got my fries since the Cajun Fries are heavily seasoned. I'm an airborne Celiac and extremely sensitive, but do relatively well here, especially since I can sit outside and eat.
Yes
They absolutely knew what they were doing when it comes to celiac disease! They have a dedicated fryer and the only thing that goes in it are the french fries that they cut and peel on site, no ingredients other than potatoes, salt, and oil. All of the bread is kept in a different area of the kitchen and the gluten-free bread is kept wrapped in packaging in a different area. They told me all of the options for making my meal gluten free which made this a great experience!

Management here is wonderful about training employees on allergen safety. On our last visit, we actually witnessed a new employee being trained on allergen procedures, and they were extremely diligent about preventing cross-contamination. I make sure to specify my “gluten allergy” and my item is clearly marked on my ticket. Bun alternatives include a burger bowl or lettuce wrap, and in my opinion they have mastered the lettuce wrap compared to other burger joints in the area (never falls apart, and an adequate amount of fresh crisp lettuce). French fries are the only thing they fry, and are fried in peanut oil. They’re also careful about packing my food separately from my non-GF husband. They are consistent and thorough, a great choice for a quick eat.

When we need a burger, we go here. A LOT. They don’t have GF buns but they’ll make any burger in a bowl, and they don’t use their fryers for anything other than French fries so no worries about cross contamination. Our Celiac kid loves it, hasn’t gotten sick from eating here even once.
