I have celiac and they explained the extra precautions in preparing my food. When my order was up to be prepared, I even saw them put on gloves. I had a bun less cheeseburger with fries and no gluten reactions at all. Good food, delicious fries!

I only had the French fries. It took a long time to get them and I had to watch closely bc they didn’t seem to fully grasp (or care). I watched them cook it and they washed hands and did a glove change. I didn’t get sick.

I announced before I ordered that I have Celiacs. I noticed the sensitivity appeared on our receipt and the staff preparing the food were discussing which orders needed to be GF. I ordered "little" fries and a "little hamburger" in a "bowl," which is a foil aluminum pan. The burger was little and thin and had the crust on the edges of well done beef. I like the crust. It means the burger was fresh. I rarely have fries any more because of the risk for cross- contamination. These were fried in a fryer that only cooks fresh made French fries. There were enough fries in the order for 2. What a treat! I'm very sensitive to gluten and was able to eat there without risk.
Awesome burgers/cheeseburgers in lettuce wraps!!! I love being able to get fries without having to worry about contamination!!! Such a treat! Be sure to specify gf when ordering.

Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
