They take extra precautions for allergies! Fryer only has hand cut potatoes in it so fries are gluten free, very greasy but delicious!

Since finding out I am celiac in July 2020, I have eaten here 10+ times. They mark the order and receipt to say “celiac” or “gluten allergy”. They change gloves for making burgers gluten free. Their fries are GF and are the only thing that go in the fryers. Excellent service and I have never had an issue!

Not at all gluten free. There was no effort made my the staff to ensure that my burger wasn't cross contaminated. I couldn't even eat my food after i witnessed a line cook touch my burger with the same gloves he was handling buns with. If you have celiac disease, do not eat here.
No
Staff is super friendly and never got sick here. I love their food. Nice to have great French fries.
Love! LOVE! Love! Five Guys! The only place I can eat out within 5 miles of my house. They cook the buns on a separate grill. They change their gloves and burgers can be made in a lettuce wrap or bowl. Bonus that fries are fried in 100% peanut oil. So I can eat them with my Soy allergy!
Great experience, let them know my son had celiac, and they were awesome about changing gloves and even bagged his food separately. He had the fries and hot dog!
Yes
Lettuce wrapped burger and fries are safe to eat. I ask them to use allergy precautions, and they switch gloves n are careful of the workspace. Have eaten several times and not been sick, and I’m a pretty sensitive celiac. One point off for no gluten free bun.
Fries are safe to eat! Nothing else is fried in their fryers.
Excellent food. Bun-less burgers and fries are safe (dedicated GF fryer). Reliable and delicious. Staff is careful to avoid cross-contamination.

I appreciate that they always ask if my lettuce wrapped order is an allergy. Fries are the only thing in the fryer, so no worries about cross contamination.

I’ve gone three times in two months and it’s been great every time. I tell them “allergy warning, I have celiac’s”. I order mine on lettuce (they do a really great job at wrapping the burger in lettuce), with everything on it.
I then inform them that my spouse would like a normal bacon burger on a bun. The staff has always reassured me and I hear them tell each other “allergy!” while cooking. They’ve always put my burger in a different bag marked “***ALLERGY***” and there was a red sticker on the tin foil of my burger.
If you’ve never been to a Five Guys, they have a very limited menu of just burgers (bacon, cheese, or plain) in three sizes, French fries (plain or Cajun), and milkshakes.
The only gluten items on the menu are the buns and malt. The chocolate shakes do not automatically come malted, so there’s never been a worry for me there.
