The waiters were very knowledgeable; I said I was gluten intolerant and he knew exactly what I could and couldn't have. Basically, the chicken legs and some of the premade salads on the salad bar were the only off-limits items. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant, but to be fair, you're not going there for the mashed potatoes. The meats were all very good, flavorful and cooked well. The fried polenta was delicious, and of course, the tapioca cheese bread was excellent. I love going to a place that offers gluten-free desserts, too. The creme brulee was lovely, and the coffee was outstanding. A return visit is definitely in order.

Very nice place with good knowledge on GF topic by the boss. The Small cheese breads (pao de queijo) are very good and safe for me, had like 4 pcs. The meet is perfect, just avoid the chicken which is cooked in a beer sauce, so not GF. Wine list is extense. We had a very nice dinner here!

Contacted the HQ they assured they couod handle the gf request. It was a special occassion and I wanted to be sure. HQ told me to contact the manager, which I did before hand. Which he assured me they could handle. When I arrived and asked for the manager, he refused to see me. The waitress assured me they were able to handle a gluten free meal. I never saw her again and Half way in I was feeling ill asked for the check and they brought me a chocolate cake as a celebration for me. THEY BROUGHT CHOCOLATE CAKE TO A CELIAC THEY HAD ALREADY CONTAMINATED! Stay away is my advise.

This restaurant is a real experience but very expensive. This is fixed price all you can eat concept restaurant. Everything including fresh popovers except three items are gluten free. The salad bar very extensive and outstanding. Every kind of meat is freshly carved at your plate if you want it. I felt many of the meats were tough but some like the roast beef and steak were very good. Best of all I am a very sensitive celiac and did not get sick in spite of the fact I probably ate 20 - 25 different foods. I was wowed by the freshly baked gluten free popovers. I would return to the restaurant just for them.

So delicious. Everything on the bar is gluten free except bread. They had candied bacon, olives, cheese, tomatoes, salad, grilled veggies, etc. They brought to the table fried bananas, fried polenta, mashed potatoes, and the BEST EVER gf rolls. They said the chicken drumsticks were marinated in beer and they were touching the sausage so those were not safe. But the bacon-wrapped chicken and filet mignon were amazing.

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE CELIAC. I did all that I could to ensure the staff knew about my Celiac Disease. I noted it on the reservation, I emailed the manager, I got a .PDF of the allergens, and I alerted our server. She couldn't remember what was gluten free. That was fine because I had the .PDF with me. She checked with the manager and told me what was off limits. I went to the salad bar and fixed my plate and after I had started eating, she came back and in horror told me she had "FORGOT" to say the dressings contained wheat. I had already eaten most of my salad. She got the manager and he said "The dressings might have gluten." I repeated, in disbelief, "They MIGHT have gluten?" then he corrected himself saying "They DO have gluten." Offered to remake my salad but what was the point? I'd already come in contact with my allergen. The server then stood awkwardly by our table for at least 15 minutes asking if I needed to leave. I explained I wouldn't need the hospital, I'd just get very sick for the next two weeks. She asked if we were going to leave once more and I said No, this is my husbands birthday and Im not going to ruin it for him. After we finished dinner she brought us the check without a single word. I stopped her saying we wanted dessert. It's his birthday, after all. She said none of the desserts are gluten free. I knew Creme Brulee should definitely be gluten free, and asked her to check. I knew then that they had NO idea what gluten was. Why else would she tell me all desserts are off limits without even checking? She brought the dessert and then the check without much of an apology. After all the trouble, they did not even comp my meal. I am the LAST person to ever ask for a manager, send back food, or raise a fuss, but this to me was ridiculous. After being given an outdated allergen .PDF (which is illegal by the way), server "forgot" my allergy, and the rude service, we will NEVER come back to Fogo de Chao.

I visited this past weekend. 100% GF salad bar. The only meat option I couldn't have were the chicken drumsticks b/c they're marinated in beer. There are a decent amount of GF dessert options. But the plantains that they bring you with the meat service are GF and they're yummy enough to serve as dessert (and you can get as much as you want)! The complimentary cheese bread is also GF and absolutely divine. I did not feel limited at all at Fogo De Chao and the food was absolutely delicious! If you have food allergies, they have a comprehensive book that outlines common food allergens in each dish. Just ask the server. The unique experience is also something fun and to be enjoyed.

Excellent! Waiters very aware of gluten and the cheese bread - freshly baked for the table - is gluten free! Fantastic salad bar with the best fresh mozzarella balls I've had in a long time along with a candied spicy bacon which was out of this world with the meats! As someone else mentioned, this really is a gluten free dream and the fact the staff know about the allergy is professional and well received. When I told my server I was Gf because of an allergy, he was very knowledgeable about their menu and about hidden gluten. He told me what items on the salad bar had gluten, even not the obvious choices, like that the beans were dusted with flour, to stay away from them, and a few other items that should be naturally gf had ingredients that changed that. He even gleefully told me their table side bread baskets are gf - made with yucca flour! He told me to stay away from chicken and hearts as they are marinated in beer and the Parmesan crusted pork, that had bread crumbs, but that everything else would be safe. We had amazing service, amazing food... It's a food fest experience! Safe for vegetarians- with an amazing farm to table salad bar, the best I've ever seen! Safe for gf - so many options AND bread! Its very reminiscent of a patishoo , but it's bread... Not made with rice or potato. Yummy! And if you're a carnivore, you will think you have died and gone to meat heaven. I didn't know what to expect when my husband took me here & said that men run around & serve you from meat on a stick... Lord have mercy! It is a spectacle to behold. Its on the pricey side, but worth every penny of all you can eat bliss.

The salad bar was delicious and I avoided any options adjoining "glutened" selections such as the pasta salads. The meats were plentiful - just no chicken or lamb for us celiacs - but overall I felt the price was excessive and for that reason will not return. But that is a separate issue from the plentiful GF options.
