Updated: foo dog now has some specials which may contain gluten (ramen noodles). They have everything clearly listed inside and take steps to prevent cross contamination. Many vegan options. Still a delicious meal. Just wish is was 100% gf still. I would come again as we had another delicious meal today.
Super delicious curry!!!
I highly recommend the autumn spring rolls with the vegan chicken and jalapeño mayo. Also, the crispy fish with green curry. Excellent selection of sodas, juices, etc.
Perfect place to dine if you are a celiac, as the entire kitchen is gluten free. I only wish there were some close to home in Ohio! If I’m back in the Jacksonville area I will definitely return.
In fact we are planning our second trip to foo dogs today as we head north.

Bless My Celiac Soul! We're Safe! Everything on their menu is GF! I was so blown away that I forgot to provide pictures of our food. There were 6 of us with me as the only celiac. Each of us had a different dish and we all shared bites. Everyone loved it! (Even our picky eaters and our teenage boys!) We unanimously agreed upon a soon and certain return. Here's how dedicated they are to their celiac customers: they provide an in-house NIMA sensor for their Celiac customers' peace of mind. And...It's FREE to use! You should definitely give this place a try!!!

They have a NIMA sensor for their customers' peace of mind. It's in- house use only and it's COMPLIMENTARY!.!!!complimentsry
This place was really good but they are no longer a dedicated facility.
I love this restaurant! It is safe for celiacs and I love the delicious food! I highly recommend!

Great food. GF facility. Vegan on almost everything. Lots of unique flavors. We had three items and wouldn’t hesitate to have them again but will try other items because I’m sure they are great too.

Simply awesome.............................
The food is amazing! The staff is awesome also! A must go to place! We will be back!
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time!! And today I am glad I made the time to stop. The entire facility is gf. I ordered the Lion City Lili. With extra chicken. And the flavor is amazing! Just a touch of spice and sweet. I also got the Apple Autumn Spring rolls. They kindly changed out the pork with chicken for me because soy is in the marinade for the pork and that is another one of my allergies. The food is amazing!! Make the time to stop and enjoy the amazing food they have to offer!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Totally GF menu and kitchen. Delicious food. Highly recommended.

Gf food in historic part of Jacksonville. Eat outside or in and it’s all GF. I had the coconut ginger curry with rice noodles, which was exceptional. I also had the spring rolls, which could have been a meal in themselves. Friendly service, too.

Went here for the first time Sept 2017 and was amazed! I was the only Celiac out of the 4 people dining with us and everything was not only gf, but fantastic. I have dined there more times since then and have never been disappointed! Love Foo Dog!

Good find...I ordered the pork vindaloo and the flavors were amazing, unfortunately the pork was very over cooked and dry. The curry itself was delicious and it was a relief that their kitchen is completely gluten free, since I don’t get to eat at Indian restaurants anymore.
Yes
This place is absolutely delicious, and completely gluten free. They boast a gluten free kitchen and menu, including all the fried items. My new favorite place!

Brought wife (gluten intolerant and wheat allergy) and kids here today. All left happy and satisfied. Can’t beat a dedicated gluten free place, especially when curry is involved!
LOVE this place! Two of us ordered the pork spring rolls and calamari and then split the chicken curry entree. Everything was delicious and it was reassuring knowing everything was gluten- free. We'll definitely be back!!!

Full Disclaimer, I do work here, and I absolutely love it. After coming from another Find Me Gluten Free favorite in Jax, Corner Taco, I've found myself right at home at Foo Dog Curry Traders. Like my last job, the recipes put a huge emphasis on from scratch cooking, only Foo Dog is completely Gluten Free! Being a fast casual concept, the food and environment is much different from our sister restaurant 13 Gypsies. But I can assure you you'll find the same level of care at both places. Chef Howard and crew put a lot of effort into these dishes, making sure those with celiacs disease and gluten intolerances, can happily dine with vegans and omnivores alike. These curries are flavorful and quite filling, each one tasting different from the last. Want something zesty, tangy, sweet, spicy, or savory? I'm sure we can find a dish that hits the mark. As far as starters go, I love the Zucchini fritters, they are a crispy veggie lovers dream. These are inspired by the traditional Indian appetizer, Pakora. The vegan basil mayo on the side is a perfectly creamy condiment to pair them with. I get a basket nearly every time I work. The crab balls are a crowd favorite as well. A lot of other places use quite a bit of filler in similar dishes, but the chefs at Foo Dog use just enough to make sure these crabby fritters hold their shape. As for curries, I reccomend the Vindaloo if you want spicy, the Korma if you want sweet, and the masala if you're looking for a robust slightly smokey flavor. The laksa is a thinner consistency and kinda reminds me of chicken noodle soup! And I can't forget the Spam fried rice. I worked 3 nights in a row last week, and literally had that meal at the end of each shift. I suggest asking for the spam well done and then add a dollop of our house made kimchi paste and a squirt of tamari. Both of those add-ons can be found on the condiment stand. There are also a bunch of exotic and imported sodas, most of which are hard to explain! Just ask who ever is at the counter to steer you in a good direction, or maybe try a new one each time! I'm an unsweet tea drinker and I go for the Chysanthemum tea. It does have sugar, but it doesn't really taste like it. Quite light and refreshing. I haven't suggested it to someone who didn't love it afterwards. This restaurant is amazing and I stand behind the concept, food, and people completely! I can love working here because I love eating here. My name is Tiffany and if I'm working the next time you come in, I promise I'll do my best to find you you're next favorite meal. Check it out!

I ordered the chickpea and spinach masala with pork. Absolutely amazing! Will be back.
We ordered take-out from Foo Dog last night and it was so good. And the luxury of being able to choose WHATEVER YOU WANT from an entirely gluten-free menu almost brought tears to my eyes. We got the chicken laksa, cod with green curry and samosas. I'm anxious to eat everything else there.
