The staff, per the manager, is not knowledgeable about what has gluten and what is gluten free. Found this out after our daughter, diagnosed with celiac, became very sick.
They do have a separate cutting board and knife so they take precautions, but it doesn’t matter if they don’t know what ingredients have gluten.
We were told that it is safer to order online and that if the website menu says an item is gluten free, it doesn’t mean it’s gluten free in the restaurant.
My gluten free sushi was quite good.
We are quite disappointed with their advertisement of how serious they take food allergies (per sign in restaurant) and their admitted failure to successfully deliver. Hope they make changes so we can eat there in the future.
You just have to tell them you have a gluten allergy and they change their gloves, get a clean board, and hand cut your sushi roll
I felt so safe ordering from this location! The online allergy sheet is very easy to follow. Ordered online and made a note that I’m not just gluten free but celiac, and the team wrote a note on my order bag to reassure me my meal was handled with care. I’ll definitely be ordering from this Fusian again 🥰
