Dedicated GF DF restaurant, which is so wonderful to have access to when traveling. My mother in law and I had dinner here and the restaurant offered wonderful hospitality, English menus, and a diverse selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts. That said, our meals were disappointing. The schnitzel (both the veal and the pork) were quite dry. The calamari was a preparation I didn't care for but I do think it was technically cooked correctly (this is probably an American assumption that "calamari" equates to fried and "squid" equates to other cooking methods in my mind. Anyway I didn't like the braised squid but mostly because I was hoping for friend calamari.) The desserts were ok, but the apfelstrudel pastry was thick and not flaky like it should be. It's a relief to eat somewhere safe and for that I applaud the restaurateurs, but so often GF food is inferior to gluten foods and I did unfortunately find that to be the case here.

Entire menu is gluten and lactose free. Very fast service as well and delicious food. For vegi and vegan diets also a lot of choice!

This dedicated gluten free beer house was fabulous. Went just for an afternoon beer and it was so nice to not have to worry. I had the radler and husband had the original brew (he is not gluten free) and we both enjoyed it very much. All the food looked great too

Nice meal. I had venison ragu and my wife had spinach dumplings in tomato sauce and nut pesto. Had a table near front but had to move because of smell of cigarettes wafting in from the street. Nice beer

Really enjoyed my experience here! I ordered the Radler (beer and Almdudler soda mixed together) and the Schnitzel, and it was so delicious, I couldn’t believe it was all gluten free. They also make a super tasty cappuccino. The staff is wonderful, very kind and accommodating. Quick walk from Westbahnhof. Prices are a bit high, but it’s worth it for peace of mind.

EDIT: I have seen previous reviews and heard from other celiacs in the area that some of the breaded foods may contain wheat (albeit, “gluten free” wheat). The other day, I asked a server if their schnitzel breading had wheat, and she unfortunately just shrugged and said “there could be.” So if you have a wheat allergy, it may be best to avoid the breaded items on the menu!

EDIT 2: it seems like this place is slowly going downhill. In one visit, I ordered the asparagus risotto and there was literally no asparagus in it. The service is also getting worse, and in my last visit I had a waiter complain about my tip amount to my face. The chocolate lava cake I believe is store-bought, it tasted very similar to one I buy at the grocery store.

Very good. Had wiener schnitzel with potato. My husband had Salmon trout with sesame crust, rice and mixed veggies which was very tasty. Apple strudel was good but we miss the flaky pastry of the version with gluten. Oh well. Overall recommend highly!

Excellent gluten-free and vegan dishes. The entire restaurant is 100% gluten and dairy free. A celiacs paradise, and THE place to be if you want to try Austrian food while also being safe. I recommend the fried chicken salad with pumpkin seed breading

I was able to enjoy a wonderful wienerschnitzel with a very good apple strudel as dessert.

Waiter didn’t really speak good German. Managed to find out the food was wheat free too. Had the Vienna nockerl with mushrooms and also tried my boyfriends fries and Wiener schnitzel. The apple strudel was amazing!

Inizio col dire che è TUTTO senza glutine, anche per chi non è celiaco. Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo entrambi preso la cotoletta alla viennese con patatine fritte e una birra grande e una piccola. Dire che era buonissimo è dire poco. Cotoletta asciutta e abbastanza grande. Unica pecca il prezzo. Abbiamo speso 65€ per due cotolette e due birre. Ne dovevamo spendere 59 ma dato che abbiamo pagato con carta il prezzo è salito…quindi NON PAGATE CON LA CARTA!! Per il resto tutto ottimo

I got the schnitzel, a great texture and super yummy (could use some more flavoring but so good for GF) the apple streusel was very flavorful as well - all the dishes we got were great! The homemade bread actually tastes like bread too.

They told me they're aware of celiac which together with numerous reviews here made me quite confident in this place. I've had schnitzel with potato salad (of course, this is Vienna), apple strudel and home wine. Strudel was absolutely stunning! It was my first one for like 10 years

This was amazing! Always a wonderful feeling to be able to order anything on the menu without fear of cross contamination, and it was delicious! Had shrimp on asparagus risotto, which was amazing. Other group members had the schnitzel and found it excellent. Only meh meal was the noodle dumplings, which seemed like spaetzle mixed with scrambled eggs. Not bad, but not all that interesting. We also shared antipasti, bruschetta, and an order of cornbread, all were wonderful. Our only beer drinker (who does not eat gf) was very impressed with the house beers! Go to the restaurant- we need to encourage gf establishments like this one!

Fantastic place. So rare to find a place I can order anything on the menu! Went twice, with family that doesn’t have gluten issues, and we all loved it! “Good Well” beer on tap, schnitzel, spinach dumplings, mushroom ragout, bean salad, and chocolate “pancakes” (crepes) were all amazing. Ein absoluter Traum! Alles in diesem Restaurant ist gluten-/ und laktosefrei. Die Karte bietet eine sehr breite Auswahl an leckeren und saisonalen Speisen. Der perfekte Ort wo auch Zölis die östereichische Küche kosten können. Das Schnitzel war unglaublich! Ebenso die Knödel und der Apfelstrudel!

Very nice atmosphere, lots of options on the menu. I got a hamburger but should have asked to have it cooked well done, as it was a little pink for my taste… GF bun was good though. Husband enjoyed his wiener schnitzel and even my daughter tried the children’s pork schnitzel, but liked the fries best.
