The chef has several batters including a gluten free batter so any of the crepes can be made gluten free. The food is delicious and the staff are knowledgeable about food allergies.
Four of us had our breakfast here, and all of us loved our crêpes. I am the only one who needed gluten-free. I chatted with the owner/ cook about the negative review, and it turns out the problem was not gluten related. The owner’s mother has celiac so she’s pretty knowledgeable and careful because of that.
Call ahead and make sure they are not sold out. If they sell out of their products before the stated close time, they close their shop for the rest of the day. We were driving through Pennsylvania hoping to eat lunch there and were disappointed to find it closed before 2pm.
Delicious gluten free crepes. The owner is super friendly and accommodating!
Merci beaucoup ❣️
They have a dedicated crepe maker for the GF crepes. The two people working that day seemed not quite sure what they were doing and kept forgetting ingredients. I didn’t see any direct contamination, though. I don’t know for sure if it’s connected, but I got super sick about two hour after eating here and vomited. I personally wouldn’t eat here again.
Merci beaucoup ❣️ for taking time to write a review. We'd love to hear from you, via email, to discuss any issues and apologies for the less than experience!! We do make sure that our GF friends are made on the dedicated Crêpe irons for our GF Batter, and all our fillings are 100% Gluten friendly, though our dairy free is made with oatmilk (if there's any oat issues). Thank you again for your honest review and we look forward to hearing from you.
Loved our experience here! Fantastic service, wonderful attention to cross contamination, and excellent crepes. Batter is separate, prep station and cooking station is separate, just about all spreadable condiments are in squeeze containers, so no double dipping, and the GF crepes were clearly marked with not only my name but GF in big letters on the takeaway container. Most of the menu can be made GF.
Needed lunch while passing through Erie, PA, so I checked out Find Me GF. This place comes up a winner in my book! They have a dedicated crepe iron and all -did you get that- ALL crepe fillings are GF! Not only GF but healthy and delicious! Owner was very nice to speak with and gave information about the food as she prepared it. She did say they are moving in September to another location that has indoor seating and air conditioning. Don't let that stop you from going before that, though, as she has an agreement with coffeeshop/bakery next door for her customers ro eat there. Can't remember the name of the bakery, but they are awesome, too! They have bakery items that are GF and very careful with cross contamination. I did not have any issues with the food purchased from either place. Give these places a try- You won't be disappointed!
This was probably the best meal I’ve had in a restaurant in quite some time!! I had the brekki crepe. We were on a short trip to Erie and learned about this place having safe gluten free options. But it was more than just safe for someone with celiac disease, it was delicious!! The owner really knows her stuff and clearly cared about her customers as she spent time talking to us on our visit. Definitely look forward to visiting on our next trip! Highly recommend to my gluten free friends.
Still thinking about the delicious crepes we had this morning… the owner takes great pride in her restaurant and has so many cute touches. We loved eating in the garden behind the building.
I was thrilled to find someplace to get GF breakfast while traveling in Erie. They have both savory and sweet crepe. The owner is knowledgeable about GF and takes necessary precautions. My Brekki crepe was delicious.
The service (by the owner) was quick and super friendly . She explained all the ingredients to us....and prepared the gf crepes on a separate griddle. The price was very reasonable. And most importantly the food was AMAZING! Definitely recommended
Ohhhhh my!!! What an amazing experience. Greeted by the owner when we walked in, she gave us the run down. Can’t say enough about about this place, flavor profiles are all on point, I can tell much thought was put into making each recipe! They make most sauces and all batters in house. I’m Gluten Free and dairy free, and they had tons of options for me! The crepes everyone in my party got were delicious, and the service was top notch. I wish I lived closer, I’d be here every week (I’m not exaggerating).
AMAZING gem in Erie, PA. We were on a weekend trip to splash lagoon and when I checked this app to see nearby places I could eat we found this one. I'm so happy we stopped to try it! I got the BLT GF crepe and it was AMAZING! A huge portion and sooo tasty! They make it up front with a dedicated GF press. The workers were knowledgeable and so kind! The one lady informed me they use King Arthur 1 to 1 flour for the GF batter. Usually I like to include pictures with my reviews but it was so delicious I forgot to take one! A must try!
dedicated gluten free area right up front so I watched them make it and I had no problems!! :) it was very tasty and everything on the menu can be made gf
Amazing! All fillings are GF and they have a separate cooker and utensils for GF batter. I had Nutella and strawberries. All fruit is fresh and batter is made daily in store. So so good. Definitely worth the drive and limited parking. It works with the coffee shop next door which is also filled with GF treats.
Fabulous owner, fabulous crepes! One crepe was big enough for two meals.
Absolutely wonderful! We were in town for a hockey tournament (shout out from the Cali kids!) and were fortunate enough to find this place. We ate here 2 days in a row, they were so great! The owner & her family are truly awesome folks who made us feel right at home & were enthusiastic about being able to provide safe & delicious food for everyone. Tried the citron crepe w strawberries one day and the brekkie crepe the next-both amazing and no reactions. We’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in Erie again!
Has separate griddle for gluten free crepes. So delicious every time and Stephanie is the best!
My wife has celiac's, they take it seriously and cook gf on a separate cooking surface and know what they are doing. The food was outstanding. We look to go back every time we're in Erie. Often even with good reviews we have concerns, we had zero concerns with this place. Love it and highly recommend it.
This establishment is very serious about gluten free. There is a sign on front door that says gf. I ordered a delicious savory and sweet crepe, both were very good. I would ask for the crepes to be well done, that is my only criticism.
Wow! What a great experience. Great food and service. Loved this place.
SO good. Stopped in while visiting Erie, the owner’s personality is fantastic and the food was even better. No separate GF menu but all of the crepes can be made GF, she was super knowledgeable about gluten and had separate area for prep. Will definitely make this a required stop when I visit again!
Can not recommend this place enough! Celiac safe and incredible taste.
This place is so careful with Gluten Free crepes. They have a dedicated crepe maker and utensils when adding the ingredients. The staff are very very careful about cross contamination and the ENTIRE menu is GF. They also have a selection of sweet and savory crepes to try if one or the other is not your fancy. Not to mention that they are delicious.
They have the best gluten-free crepes. The whole family loved this place and the food. Owners are sweet to talk to and gave some really good advice on baking.
Can’t say enough about Give a Crepe! Safe, fresh, delicious gf df crepes. We split the citron crepe with fresh strawberries. Fabulous!
Wow what a fabulous find!!! The owner and her son were so sweet and accommodating. We were a party of 4 mothers and 5 Teen Aged boys… One of our teen boys has Celiac and one of the mothers was gluten-dairy free. The crepes were amazing!!! 2 of the boys got dessert crepes with Nutella and after were so impressed they wanted another brunch crepe with quiche and bacon. The owner uses a gluten-free dedicated crepe maker.. Truly a great treat… 5 stars…
Ordered through Door Dash because we were working - clearly marked our gluten free crepe and the whole family enjoyed their regular crepes. I did not get sick, and the portion size was much larger than I could finish. So delicious and looking forward to visiting the store in person.
The food was amazing! The owner is very knowledgeable about GF and takes steps against cross contamination. Every crepe is available GF!
Super friendly and very knowledgeable about cross contamination for celiacs. I had the special for the day, crabcake, and it was so delicious!
Amazing place and atmosphere - owner is so friendly! Food was amazing!!
This place is amazing. So happy they offer gluten free choices. Very friendly and informative.
Stopped by Give a Crepe during a Sunday Hill District Flea collaborative. I’ve always thought of crepes as a light desert with blueberries and whip cream. Wow, was I wrong. I had the Sunday brunch which was huge and delicious. The owner Stephani is super friendly and very conscious about gluten intolerance. I highly recommend Give a Crepe for a hearty meal.
Such a great place! Everything is GF and plenty of options to choose from. I’d highly recommend it!
