My dad, sister and me are all gluten free, they have a gluten sensitive menu you have to ask for. Our server was very knowledgeable about gluten free. My sister had Mediterranean chicken, I had the turkey sandwich with sweet potato fries, my dad had the BLT with crinkle fries. I am by far the most sensitive to cross contamination and I did not get sick. Granite City exceeded my expectations in every way. The food is delicious!

I ate a plain chicken breast and asparagus and I did not get sick. The food is not that exciting, tho.

They don't have a kids GF menu -- the food is absolutely delicious though. The nacho plate definitely gives leftovers for the kid. Next time we will just share it. They are very accommodating for GF things

New menu contains a good amount of options labeled GS. Dedicated fryer. Our server didn’t know anything about celiac at the beginning of our dinner. I explained it to him and he made a strong effort to make sure I would be ok, he double checked every question I had. Didn’t get sick. Food itself was just ok though.

The gluten-free menu options were very limited and the restaurant is extremely noisy.

It’s a good choice, if you’re cautious. The staff was very accommodating and answered several questions. They list some options on the menu as “gluten sensitive,” (GS) but don’t go by that alone. The wings are listed as GS, but my server said he believed they are fried in the same fryer as the onion rings, which have a flour batter. They have a gluten-free buns for hamburgers, but at least a couple of their burgers have gluten containing ingredients. The Blue Peppercorn burger, for example, has onion straws. If you would like a cocktail, I recommend the American Mule. It’s not listed as GS, but after a couple of questions I was able to determine that it is, and it’s good! I had the ribeye steak. It came with some parmesan potatoes and green beans. It was very good and I felt fine afterwards.

Helpful, knowledgeable server and cook staff. The server understood what CD was and recognized the need for avoiding gluten and cross contamination. The only negative was the GF bun which was sub-par and not entirely the restaurant's fault.

Good gf menu. The gf hamburger buns are great!!

Great place! Can ask for GF pizza crust -- really good! A couple of salads can be modified, but bring your own dressing. Am always impressed that the wait staff is so helpful.
called ahead very friendly staffing said they had a gf menu. not really anything to be had and nothing vegertarian for gf choices. waiter didnt know about gf salad dressing to pick from
They did not have a GF menu. They sometimes have gf options available ; buns and flatbread. But they were out of all of it when there. I was suppose to trust my teenage server what was gluten free or not. I’m not going back!!

Disappointed. This location did not have the Gluten Free Flat Bread; waitress said it had been a couple months since they had it. I also have issues with vegetable washes and their salad greens are all prewashed, so that was out. Waitress was nice and helpful, but little to eat for me. Ended up with a Bison Burger, with cheese, skipped the GF Bun and toppings. If you want a burger, salad, or a lettuce wrapped sandwich, you will be ok. Sides are a challenge. Waitress was helpful in identifying what was safe to eat.

I had a sandwich with a gluten-free bun (it’s not in the menu but the waiter immediately knew that they have one) and a soup that had no gluten. The overall experience was really good and I had no problems afterward.

Ate here last night and had no after effects. Server was very helpful. I had the Salmon and even though it is naturally gf she had it marked gf so they would know to clean the grill before making it for me. Rice pilaf and asparagus were my sides. No dedicated fryer but many other options can be made gf. They do have gf buns too. Did not flag as gf but it came out separately and the server said that it was the gf salmon before handing to me.

I ordered off the GF menu. I ordered the Bleu Peppercorn Burger, with a side of rice, and drank it down with a Flying Monkey. Then I got so sick I vomited it all up. Not sure what happened, but of course I’ll never eat here again.
