I’ve eaten here many times over the years. I have celiac and they are always careful and I’ve never been sick. They clean the grill to cook GF food, so if that bothers you keep that in mind.
I was worried going her because of the poor reviews. I decided to be extra cautious. I had a plain burger with tomato wrapped in lettuce and I had them add avocado and bacon. I had them leave off all condiments since I was worried about cross contamination. I also did not get fries, although the person at the counter said the sweet potato fries were safe. I did not risk it. The burger was very good, and I felt fine eating out. No problems at all. I would go back and maybe take my own chips or something so I didn't feel deprived when my companions eat their fries.
This restaurant serves gluten-free items, upon request; however, it is not safe for Celiacs. I assume it's gf for those who choose to be, not those who have to be. I was told that the regular fries are not gluten free, but the sweet potato fries are -as they are fried separately. However, there were 4 regular fries in with my husband's sweet potato fries. Mine seemed okay, as there were no regular ones in my order. Unfortunately, I was wrong :( I called and spoke with a manager, James, who was very nice, but when I told him I was glutened and running to the restroom bc I was sick, he mentioned that the restaurant was up to health code standards and no one else has called in sick today. (Well, they just did...) It's not food poisoning, it's cross contamination. Anyways, eat here with caution if you are highly sensitive/Celiac.
We came in around 9:00 pm and ordered and waited for 40 minutes for our food, went up to check on order and said they were waiting on the fries. A few minutes later an employee came out and asked if it was a preference or an allergy. Few minutes later the manager came out to tell us that they had someone new in the kitchen and they combined all of the food in the fryer so they were remaking our food and it would another 10 minutes and gave us a card for a free entrée for another visit. We then checked our food before leaving and it was not correct. So we had to go back up to the counter and get what was left off of our sandwiches. At this point the manager compted our entire meal.
