I've been to several Hard Rock locations and always had a great experience. This one has a sign on the door saying ask for the gluten free menu, but when I asked the host said they didn't have one, but was able to point out a handful of gluten free items. Our server was more helpful and asked to check if the chips for the nachos and the potatoes for fries are in a dedicated fryer, and they are, so all the menu items I was used to seeing on the gf menu were still available. Just seems like maybe they don't get a lot of gluten free customers, but the food was still very good.
Allergy list available for review as well as gluten free substitutes. Just ask server.
Gluten Free Menu Available. Ask manager.
Server was extremely knowledge of celiac disease and gluten free food needing to be cooked in a separate area of the kitchen in order to avoid cross contamination. There was a gluten free menu. Had a separate fryer for fries - hooray! I had salmon with fries and my 9 year old son had a gluten free cheeseburger (with gf bun) and fries. He also was able to have a milkshake as they were available gluten free! Such an enjoyable meal for everyone.
We were in a family party of 11, with 9 from out of town, here Saturday for lunch and a visit to the Aquarium. My daughter and I were the only celiacs. We had their burgers and were served with gf plates as described on the GF menu: delicious! The gf buns were good, but I concentrated on the burger and fries. One of our party, following the Paleo diet, ordered a gf salad (without croutons). Her salad came with croutons, which she simply pushed aside, as she wouldn't actually get sick from them, but we wondered about the care taken in the kitchen. Also, another person ordered a vegetarian taco chip dish, which was brought to him with visible chicken meat in it, which his mother did send back. That worried us too. So I feel fine today, so my meal was gf, and I assume my adult daughter's was too, or she would have said so on FB or email by now. But be careful to pay attention to what you get!
just had a great meal here this evening. our waiter was excellent, Victor. Nachos were crisp and not great. Cobb salad fresh with lots of variety. separate gf menu with many options. this was the third time in 5 years and I have always been fine.
Great food and very careful with celiac food and traces. Have eaten here several times and never had any cross contamination incident, and it's worth mention that I am a very sensitive celiac. Serving staff are always super lovely (the staff at the door whoever are usually unfriendly) . The food is delicious !!!
They have a good amount of options. I got the California Cobb salad... the waitress wasn’t sure about the dressing being gluten free so I got balsamic instead.. and she assured me the chicken was grilled not breaded. The portion was large enough to be a full dinner, I enjoyed it!
There are gluten free options, and there’s no upcharge so that’s nice, but the sandwich itself wasn’t good. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The bun was very hard (didn’t budge no matter how hard I tapped it). The chicken tasted undercooked and the fries were bland and hard. Really no value for the price. I didn’t finish it because I didn’t like it. But still two stars because it was technically gluten free and I don’t think it made me sick.
Good choices of typical American fare on gluten free menu. Including a hot fudge brownie sundae.
No GF menu in house, but it’s still available online. I had the nachos (corn) with 3 different types of beans, cheese & tomatoes and Dr Pepper. Server was kind & attentive even though they were crazy busy due to a Jimmy Buffet concert about to start across the street.
As soon as I asked for a gluten free menu I was not only given one, but the manager came over and explained the entire food preparation process to me and was so informed and informative. Overall amazing dining experience and would highly recommend for any celiac’s eating out in Edinburgh 👍
Left before eating as I was concerned at their attitude. They asked how sensitive a coeliac I was. He said if I was sensitive the manager would need to speak to me to make me aware it would not be possible to guarantee my food would be free from contamination. Coeliac is coeliac so would not recommend.
So let me begin by saying my 2nd experience here in two days was awesome. Day 1 my waiter blatantly told me there is nothing I can eat there except for a hamburger with a gluten free roll. Well I didn’t want that so I said “no salads”?, he said “oh yah salads are fine”. He got me so nervous that I had a dry salad. I was miserable. I was staying at the hard rock hotel so I called and complained. They told me to come back in the next day which I did. A manager came right over and assured me there were a ton of gf options. I had a bone in rib eye, mashed potatoes and string beans. It was phenomenal! If you go here just tell your waiter that you’re gf and that you’d like to see a manager. In the end it was a great experience and I will definitely go back. I’m glad I didn’t let 1 uneducated waiter ruin it for me!
Went here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. There isn't a gluten free menu but the server knew exactly what I could have. We had nachos, chicken fajitas and parmasean fries. When they brought our food to the table the server jokingly said, "I hand removed all the gluten for you." So I knew they got the memo on my meal needing to be gluten free. It was all delicious and I don't think I'll eat for the rest of the day I'm so full! No reaction at all.
Friendly staf good knowledge about gluten free and a special menu
I dread going to Vegas because it seems like it's impossible to find a safe place to eat. After stopping by many restaurants to see if they were ok to eat at, we went with Hard Rock Cafe. I was hesitant to eat there after reading some reviews, but they had a dedicated frier so we gave it a try. WE WERE SO HAPPY WE DID! We had a great overall experience. We sat outside with a great view of the strip, I ordered a smoothie that was AMAZING, and then proceeded to order a cheeseburger with a GF bun, and GF fries. Everything was so good! Our server was excellent, very knowledgeable and super friendly! And the best part? No reaction. This will be our go to place in Vegas now. Side note: they did get rid of GF menu, not sure why, but server was able to point out what things were GF or could be.
Every time I have visited here it has been super. Given gluten free menu and manager came down to talk us through and said she would be sorting our meal. Only ever got the burger on the menu though as they are so tasty. The fries are super too. Even the table sauces tell you which Heinz products are gf. Would definitely recommend to others and will be back.
Server was wonderful! The manager came out and talked with me several times. Upon speaking with the manager to give him my thanks, he informed me they had a dedicated fryer (the server indicated otherwise). Talked about education regarding that! It was a great experience!!
Came in for breakfast. Have to say very impressed! My son got a breakfast sandwich (udis roll) and my niece had an omelet with toasted udis roll. Breakfast potatoes are gf as well as the bacon AND sausage. No gif breakfast menu but Birdie (our waitress) got manager and both were amazing! 10 stars of I could first the service alone!
Offered to cook the fries in fresh oil.
The staff was amazing. They have a dedicated fryer, but we had a delay in our gf fries and the manager gave us half off our bill - not at all expected or asked for, but hugely appreciated. The waitress was fabulous and well informed, and couldn’t have been better.
Awesome service. The staff was knowledgeable about GF procedures and ensured no cross contamination. We tried the burger, wings and ribs. My daughters loved it. We were surprised to find this in an international chain but it was great. We’d come back any time.
Had a late night, night cap. It is one of few places that we could easily find for quiet place for drink and late snack after 10pm. A lot of restaurants are closed during the week at that time. Hard Rock has great gf options. We discovered their gf in Barcelona. Glad to see them in downtown Chicago and that they were iron late compared to other restaurants. We enjoyed the our late night snack and drinks.
Just came back from supper tonight. Was very worried, have had bad experiences lately... this location made me feel safe. The waitress handed me the gluten free menu, and the manager came to talk to me about my options. They have a separate fryer for French fries (and they were awesome!). Hard Rock uses Udis bread for the sandwiches and burgers. Had burger, fries and brownies for dessert. Portions were big, could not finish. Very good experience, thank you Hard Rock Myrtle Beach!
