In theory, Hawaiian bros should be a perfect choice, but they have jacked me up more than a few times. I'm suspect of the soy sauce. Corporate says they only use gluten free (tamari,) but sometimes local operators make substitutions to save a buck. I'm not making any specific accusations, but it is a common practice across the restaurant industry. And I should know, I was an outside sales rep for the largest foodservice provider in North America. Many chain restaurants use unauthorized providers to cheat on the corporate recipes. A lot of them also just buy cheap substitution ingredients at Walmart or Costco when it fits thier needs.

Food was absolutely delicious! am a Celiac and had no issues. I had concerns about the teriyaki sauce and the order taker was not 100% sure if it was gluten free. She got the manager and he confirmed they use gluten free teriyaki and soy sauce. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and service was quick. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

My husband has celiacs and we eat here regularly. He has had no reactions with the chicken and rice plate (no pasta). Great to find something tasty and safe!

Line is safe and efficient. All sauce and everything except macaroni was gluten free. Me and a friend both have celiac and ate here and loved it.

I’ve eaten here a LOT since I went GF. Never have had a problem. Like another reviewer said there’s on a couple menu items that have gluten. I just double up my rice or pineapples and skip the mac. Food is so good and I feel safe eating here. Dole Whip is delish and will feed a few people off of one cup!

Everything on their menu is GF except the macaroni salad and chow mein noodles. They are great with precautions! The Hulu Hulu chicken is amazing!

The food is delicious! We shared the huli huli chicken with the macaroni in a separate container. And dole whip soft serve. They even have tamari sauce packets on offer too. We’ll be back, as Hawaiian Bros is now in our food rotation.

Stopped on our way back home from Chicago. We're looking for affordable, tasty, and quick. (Hard to find for gluten free on the road). Hawaiian Bros delivered all three and more! :) $10-20/person.
They can split your plate with two proteins if you prefer. I had the Honolulu and Malakai. Yum! Everything is gluten free except the macaroni salad and the mandarin orange salad. Including the condiments-they brought tamari packets to our table!!!!
They also have artisan root beer and cream soda, Hawaiian juices, etc.
The Dole soft serve is delicious-the twist combines strawberry and pineapple. It tastes like summertime!
Note: protein comes served on rice as well as having a side of rice.

Would go back for the dole pineapple whip, but the food itself wasn’t that great in my opinion, the chicken was dry and flavor wise was just okay.

Delicious food and almost everything is gluten free. I got a large plate and made three meals off of it. Highly recommend!

Most menu items are GF (avoid Mac salad and salad option). Pretty safe just by the nature of how they prep the food (Mac salad is prepared separately, all grilled meats are GF).

Order at a kiosk, but they have allergen list at the main counter. The only item with gluten is the macaroni. I substituted it for veggies. The sauces don’t have gluten though, even the teriyaki. The meat tender and delicious! Fresh pineapple or GF and DF dole whip as dessert. Great and fast! Best of all, no sickness after eating. ๐๐ผ
