My husband has Celiac’s and Herb and Sea was an amazing experience. After a greeting, our server’s first words were, “ Are there any allergies I need to be aware of?” Though the menu is not marked, our server was well versed with each item and made ordering easy. Most of the menu was GF anyway. Every item delivered to our table was as beautiful as it was delicious. We were so pleased with our experience and would recommend it to anyone needing GF food. This same award winning chef has 3 other restaurants in southern California we definitely will seek them out. YUM!

Very good food. The waiter knew which items were gluten free and what could be modified, and was conscientious about asking the kitchen about other food restrictions that he didn't know off the top of his head. It was clear that the staff are trained on food allergies and know to take things seriously. Great experience, none of the usual "well, they said it's gluten free, but I'll see how I feel later..." worry that I usually have at new restaurants. I felt confident and safe (and did feel perfectly fine the next day).

We had a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Katie, was excellent and marked out on the menu what was safe, what was gf and what could be modified. The servers additionally let me know the dishes were gf and celiac safe when they brought them to the table. We had the ceviche (modified with papadum instead of fried plantain chips), the shrimp, the beets (which were delicious), and the Jdori chicken with salsa verde.

Most of the menu is GF, though the staff is very helpful and delightful in helping to navigate and make recommendations. The Ahi Puttanesca was beyond delicious. And the crispy Brussels sprouts and Plancha Fired Whole Branzino (with crispy skin and olives) were really good too. This is a great place with good atmosphere and food.

THE best restaurant experience I’ve had as a celiac. Amazing food (not just the usual plain gluten free offerings). Our server was VERY knowledgeable about celiac and cross contact. The menu isn’t labeled (the dessert menu is..) but they were able to tell me what was good for me and what wasn’t. All of my food was delivered with them saying “celiac carrots..” etc which made me feel so safe. Appetizers, meals and desserts all gluten and dairy free that were amazing. The ambiance was lovely. Make sure you come here!! I’m so glad we did!!

The staff is very knowledgeable and take all precautions if you say you are celiac. I ate the ceviche, tested with my Nima sensor and the smile face appeared to me
