The pulled pork was very tasty and the sweet sauce was my favorite so much I bought a jar of it
Most every thing is gluten free except the bread. They have a dedicated frier. I ate the brisket and pulled pork with fries and it was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Friendly & helpful staff. The food was delicious. I was told that everything is GF here with the exception of the buns. Even the battered items are made with rice flour. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic food! So much of their menu is celiac safe. They use rice flour for their battered items! We bought the family meals and everything except the giant buns were gluten free. They took great care to double bag the buns separately from the rest of the food.
Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful! My celiac son got pulled pork without a bun, sweet potato fries and fried pickles. He didn’t get sick and everything was delicious!
They take it seriously & we’re very helpful. I didn’t get sick & the food was good. Recommend!!

Everything on the menu, except the Mac & Cheese and the bread, is gluten free. They know what they’re doing, and take allergies seriously.
They also take BBQ seriously - the food was amazing!!
The ribs fall off the bone. The fires and sweet potato fries were great, and the fried pickles battered in rice flour were such a treat.
If you are in Orange Beach / Gulf Shores and are Celiac - don’t miss Hog Wild!

So good! I had the fried pickles and would go back weekly for them if I could. Also had a pulled pork plate with fries. Everything was so good and well seasoned. Staff was well informed and I felt great after eating.
Food was fantastic, as was the service. I felt they took my gluten sensitivity very seriously. No bread but I ordered the pulled pork plate with sweet potato fries(no shared fryer) and even got an order of frickles(fried pickles). They are coated with a rice flour batter and were delish! Highly recommended!
Great for gluten free as all fryer items are gluten free. If they had a gluten free bun, that would make the experience complete. I did love being able to have the sliced brisket with sweet potato fries and coleslaw though. They were knowledgeable and helpful. It was delicious!
Gf fryer, fries and fried pickles. Very good, it was my favorite meal on vacation. I had the fried pickles anx wild fries (fries, pulled pork and topped with a very light and fresh coleslaw).
Highly recommend! Very gluten friendly. Knowledgeable staff!
Dedicated GF
Got the fried pickles and the rib plate with fries and green beans. The green beans were canned and meh but everything else was really good. They marked my order gluten free allergy (I probably have celiac but you know how it is) but almost everything on the menu is gluten free (except the toast, Mac n cheese, and banana pudding). The staff was really nice and answered all my questions. All of their breading is rice based and their fryer only ever sees gluten free things. Delicious!
Staff is very knowledgeable, menu well marked, only rice flour in the fryers. Overall, great BBQ experience.
The menu is on the wall with (GF) clearly after the Gluten-free items.

It was attractively presented and very good.
I got very sick after eating the ribs and chicken wings. I will not be going there again
Excellent food, gluten free clearly labeled on menu. The staff was knowledgeable, didn't hesitate to kindly answer my questions. The order was clearly labeled allergy. Kitchen staff was very careful to keep everything separate. Chppoed brisket, sweet potato fries, and green beans all delicious with no side effects.
Almost all sides are GF! All the meats are gluten free! They were unsure about the whiskey BBQ sauce but all the rest of the sauces were also GF. I had no issues afterwards. The only thing I did find mildly concerning is that they use a brand of ketchup that has no information on it w/r/t its contents being GF or not. So, I just steered clear.
The fried pickles were 10/10!! They don’t have gf bread which was a bummer.
Everything was amazing. Love that 99% of the menu is gluten free! The 1% non-gluten free is the bread used for sandwiches. Deep fried pickles were the best!!! Brisket basket with sweet potato fries and green beans AMAZING with the 911 hot sauce. Husband got the Nasty G with the bun on the side so I was able to try it, which was delicious, even heated up in the microwave later in the evening. The fryer is GF dedicated so no cross contamination. If you want amazing BBQ, you must give this place a try! You will not be disappointed! We will be going back!
The fried pickles alone were worth every penny! Everything was delicious and everything we tested with our Nima tester came up gluten free!!!
Delicious gf fried pickles! Tons of gf meats and side options. They noted my food as celiac/gluten free! Great atmosphere, love music on fridays in the summer, and yummy food!
This place was *amazing* — incredible food, people, and experience. We ordered the Wild Fries, fried pickles, and ribs with potato salad and cucumber salad. Delish! Their fryer is 100% gluten free, sauces, and meals. Just no bread, tacos, or mac&cheese. The person who took our order knew what celiac disease was and was oh so helpful and kind. Go go go!
This was an amazing experience!! Everything is gf except for the toast, buns, and mac & cheese. The second I mentioned I needed gf the person taking our order assured me with no prompting that staff would change their gloves, use clean utensils, and there would be no cross contact. The also have amazing fried pickles which are coated in rice flour so there’s no cross contact in the fryers which means truly gf French fries!! This is a must if you want gf southern bbq!
Employees were definitely not the friendliest bunch on the block, brisket was cold, BUT the fried pickles with ranch were amazing.
Some of the best bbq I've had anywhere. The fried pickles hit the spot. I had pulled pork, sliced brisket (lean), beans, fries. Friendly staff. Super clean inside. Relaxed but industrial upscale feel.
Excellent place for gluten free! Everything on the menu is gluten free except for the bread, macaroni and cheese and the tortillas. They use only rice flour for deep fried items. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and they had no issues serving us. My son, who is celiac, accidentally tried ordering the macaroni and cheese and the server said no, it's not gluten free. Large portions and it all tasted great! No symptoms for my son after eating. We will be back!

GREAT experience and food. Cashier was very knowledgeable about gluten free items and protocols. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free. Got the turkey and French fries which were both SO good. Very cute atmosphere inside. Cashiers and manager were incredibly friendly.
Everything but the bread & mac n cheese is gf. Fried pickles, buffalo shrimp and fries were all so good. And none of it was greasy. Open kitchen and I could see the chef breading my shrimp to cook it so it’s fresh!! They are so nice and no risk of cross contamination. Loved it
My favorite place to eat. Make sure you say gluten free. They put bread on top of the food.
I haven’t had fried pickles in YEARS. The smoked chicken was delicious, my husband loved the nasty G. Fry seasoning has a little kick, be warned if you have small guests, My kids were not a fan but I was. So definitely be back. Great small business to support.
Hog Wild! Go to hog wild and go hog wild! Wife is a celiac who will go into anaphylaxis so a smorgasbord is kinda rare but this place is great. I will not write a whole long thing because it will just echo the other reviews.
Menu is 98% gluten free with the exception of the buns and Mac n cheese and maybe 1 or 2 other items. All sauce and meet is clean. So are the fried pickles.

Great food! Gluten free fried pickles and ranch were so good! Their bbq is all GF, without a bun obviously. Went here everyday on vacation - it was that good!
The staff knew what was not gluten-free which was the very little. We had brisket, pulled chicken, turkey, fries, sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious including the BBQ sauce. As a bonus, we did not have to wait for takeout. It was so good we picked up food two nights in a row. Highly recommended.

They are very knowledgeable about gluten! The food is delicious! Specify your dietary needs when you order. The shared frier has no gluten because they use rice flour, no wheat. I had French fries and didn’t get sick and I’m sensitive to cross contamination. We go there every time we are in the area.
The fried pickles were an amazing experience. BBQ was a little disappointing but overall it was a great Gf establishment.
Food was wonderful! We had the pulled pork sandwich (no bun) and fries. They even had frickles (friend pickles) that were gluten free and pulled pork nachos. They indicated with our order that it was an allergy so they would take all the precautions. Ate here twice for our spring break trip and my two celiac kiddos were happy and did not get sick. Would recommend 100%! Great place.

Lots of GF options. Got the pulled pork plate with fries and green beans and had no issues. Make sure to ask for no toast though. Confirmed with the staff that the fries are cooked in a dedicated GF fryer.
Ate at Hog Wild several times with no issues. The menu is clearly marked, and the food is very good. I mainly ate pulled pork and cole slaw. Also tried the fried pickles. I'm a very sensitive celiac, so it's good to find somewhere to eat without worries. We are snowbirds, and can't wait to return to Hog Wild next year!
Highly recommend. Menu is clearly labeled with GF items. We went two days in a row the food was so good. First day I tried the Wild Fries (Pulled pork, house Cole slaw and fries), along with the Frickles (fried pickles), I’d make the 16 hour drive again for those fried pickles. Second day I tried the BBQ Nachos. All the food was amazing, no issues with cross contamination and I’m a very sensitive celiac. If your in the area, it’s a must stop!!
