Amazing place. I highly recommend this wonderful little place. The outside is ok but the place is beautiful inside. The food is delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable. I don't live here or I would definitely be back.

Ended up having a waitress that has celiac. She was very helpful and ensured us for safety. We got the picnic basket platter and GF chocolate cake plus ice cream. She used a new scoop and made sure to scoop from a fresh section. It was great.

Hood’s is the best for celiac people! They have separate fryers, they are very knowledgeable (as their owner’s grandchild has Celiac), and they have incredible food (and variety). All allergy dishes come out with a label for Allergy! A local gem!

Was not far from their location and after reading the reviews we decided to stop in and give it a try. Well I am so glad we did! Great place. Clean, friendly and know what they are doing. No cross contamination. Separate fryers for Gluten free items. Prices are reasonable and portions are good. The food is great! I got the gf brisket burnt ends with frys and BBQ beans. I will definitely be going back when I am in the area. Hidden gem!

I pulled up Find Me GF to see if there was someplace nearby to eat. There were good reviews on Hoods, and it noted the owner was a Celiac, so I decided to try it as I had not had a pulled pork sandwich in 7 years! I was extremely pleased with the server, the quality of the food and the taste. I felt completely safe and really appreciated their in-depth knowledge of Celiac disease. Hoods is definitely worth the drive. There were so many GF options!

I never write reviews…this place is AMAZING!!! Best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had. My family has 3 celiac members. One of the owners has Celiac and they handle Gluten Free perfectly! If you’re scrolling to find a place to eat, look no further. Thank you Hoods!!

I stopped here on a trip from out of town and had a wonderful experience. It's a family owned restaurant and one of the owners has celiac so the kitchen understands how to be careful about cross contamination. Food was delicious too!

Very knowledgeable about Celiac, knew as soon as I said it. I was reassured everything was prepped separately. Cider they make was great and good gluten free options!

They are one of the places that I do not stress about taking my 7yo celiac. The servers ask if it is an allergy when we order the gluten free bun so the staff are educated. Family owned, local restaurant with great food and the owners have family with celiac disease so they know their stuff! Eating out is stressful with a child who has celiac disease considering most gluten free menus are adult focused (and expensive) but my little girl LOVES their pulled pork sandwich with fries and I can relax while watching her nearly finish her plate.

Was here last night for dinner with family: great experience. Spoke with one of the sweet owners who has a family member with celiac and felt completely confident that anything marked gluten free on the menu would actually be gluten free. They understand cross contamination very well, have a dedicated fryer, and are just all around well versed in what people who require gluten free food for their health actually need to feel safe. Food was delicious, service was friendly, and you can’t beat eating a meal with your family and not worrying about every bite. Highly recommend!

Met a friend here for lunch yesterday. First time trying this restaurant. I'm the one with Celiac, but we both absolutely loved it! What a cute establishment. Clean, attentive, and really delicious food. Knowing you can eat somewhere safely is worth everything, and I had zero misgivings about this place. Highly, highly recommend and will most certainly be returning for more!

I’m writing this review months after eating here because I’m STILL talking about how amazing this place was! The owners’ daughter, who happened to be our waitress, has celiac and they built a lot of the menu items for those with celiacs. Dedicated fryer and was assured whatever I ordered off the menu that was labeled GF is absolutely safe. It was also DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the brisket Burnt Ends and fries. The decor is stunning and everyone was incredibly friendly. Also there’s a back store with many packaged gluten free desserts to purchase!

Good food. Super friendly owners and staff. The owner waited on us and assured me my food would be gluten free and safe from cross contamination. He has a family member with celiac so he understands how important that is. His mom was in that day and I met her as well. Really nice people and I felt completely safe eating there. Delicious BBQ, french fries and a nice selection of gf desserts. The chocolate cake was really good! Such a treat to dine out and not worry about cross contamination. Can’t wait to go back!

I ordered takeout from here yesterday. Since the reviews really made me feel safe. One of the girls that works there even has celiac disease. She gave my mom a paper where she wrote down two safe restaurants we could eat at. The food was pretty good. There are so many gluten-free options on the menu. The coleslaw, baby back ribs, and cheese fries were especially notable. I usually don’t order from places with a shared kitchen but I felt safe because of the reviews. Thankfully I didn’t get glutened, so I will definitely be going back.

The place is really cute too, super clean, bar area with ciders and wine (beer too) and there were lots of GF menu options. Definitely recommend!

After reading the reviews we finally went there on 7/21/21. It was amazing! The waitress told me the owner’s daughter has celiac so they are careful and have a separate area for GF prep. They have a GF fryer too!!!! I had their deviled eggs, the 1/2 chicken with green beans and CHEESE FRIES!!! I had the GF chocolate cake for dessert. Just you careful. Overeating is possible. LOL!!! They also have flights from a local cidery.

I am extremely sensitive to any cross contamination and I'm so happy I stopped here. Great BBQ. My food was marked with an allergy label and I did not get sick.

We got takeout before going to Longwood Gardens. I really enjoyed what I ordered. A lot of GF options available. My food container was clearly marked with allergy, and the receipt said gluten allergy. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go back.

Many GF options listed on the menu, and they have a dedicated fryer. I had the pulled pork with mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious! It came with a toasted sesame seed bun on the side that was also very good. Wish I hadn't eaten so much because I would've liked to try their GF chocolate cake. Very knowledgeable staff.

Great food. Lots of gluten free options marked on the menu. Staff double checked to make sure fryers were safe from cross contamination. Fries were safe and good. BBQ platter with baked beans was excellent. I asked for no bread as sides and he suggested bringing bread on side for non Celiac members of family. So husband ate biscuit and cornbread.
BBQ was fantastic. Oh, and the deviled eggs are gluten free and DELICIOUS!!
