Hopdoddy Burger Bar

Lots of GF options, including GF fries and GF burger buns. They have a GF menu and staff added note to my order so they take extra precautions when preparing I.e. GF prepared separately etc.

I didn’t have a great experience the last time I dined here. I specifically stated that I was Celiac and asked the server to ensure the Vegetarian burger (on lettuce) was completely GF. I was told that it was, however when I asked a different server who delivered the meal she said the patty DID contain gluten. It’s frustrating as a customer if you can’t get a straight (correct) answer the first time around. Instead I ordered the Ahi Tuna on lettuce wrap which was fine (despite having too much Wasabi sauce on it) ... I would check twice if you are Celiac if you eat here ...

Bun is crumbly, but delicious. Fries are gluten free. Ask for the "allergy menu" when ordering and it will clearly state what items are gluten free and which need to be modified. You can feel confident the info you are getting is accurate. I Am Celiac and have never had a reaction and have eaten at both locations several times.

Very careful about cc and very accommodating. Not even lyfe kitchen next door that has "gluten free" in big letters on their window were as informed and helpful.

Won't be coming back, the GF bun is a crumbly thing that bears no resemblance to an actual bun (like the ones at The Counter). Very dissapointed .

Great menu selection. Dedicated fryer for fries! Staff seemed knowledgable about gluten free items. Burger was great. The bun was yummy too.

I enjoyed a good hamburger but the GF bun was a little disappointing. The crust was a little hard and the texture was more like a biscuit. They can make any of their burgers GF giving you plenty of options. I was told they will change gloves and avoid any cross contamination. The shareable fries were great! Much more than my wife and I could eat.

Service was fast and excellent. The gf bun is the best I’ve ever had. Also, the burger was amazing and probably the best I’ve had. Highly recommend with the fries!

My go to restaurant near vandy. Best GF buns I’ve had, great burgers, and as far as I know, all fries are safe. They ask if GF is for allergy or preference and I have always felt 100% safe. Highly recommend.
