The service and setup here is great. They are very celiac friendly and the staff seemed knowledgeable from the start. They do have a gluten free fryer bc all of their fries are gluten free. They use a separate fryer for the fried chicken. All prep areas are gluten free as well. The only thing lacking was the gf bun - not the best but definitely not the worst either. Will return again.
I love this place!!! They have a red flag tag that they fill out if you say you have a gluten allergy & give it to the kitchen staff. I always get the classic burger in a bowl with truffle fries. They have gf house made buns but I haven’t been brave enough to try them. The dedicated fryer makes this place even better.
GF options but not worth the money. The upcharge for GF hamburger bun was $2.25 on top of a $10 burger. Casher said it was "the best GF bun". It was edible but definitely not worth the extra charge. My burger was overcooked and not very flavorful. Fries were good and crispy. I did not get sick but that's not enough for me to go back.
Had a procedure done at Vanderbilt and stopped at this place for lunch. Most burgers can be made GF by ordering as a salad or with a lettuce bun, but GF bun is also available. They have a separate GF menu and the kitchen knows to treat it as an allergy. I had the kale cesear salad, and it was delish! No issues afterwards.
The person taking our order was super helpful and friendly. They make their own gluten free burger buns and have a separate gluten free menu. They were willing to customize an ahi tuna salad to ensure it was gluten free, even though it wasn’t on the gluten free menu. According to the person who took our order, the fries are cooked separately and they take precautions when cooking gluten free orders for those with “an allergy.” They noted that my daughter’s order was due to “an allergy” and I heard the person at the next register ask the customer if her order was due to an allergy or a preference. Service was also fast.
The burger was delicious. You can get them with gluten free bread or lettuce wrap. The bread was better than most gf bread I’ve had but I ended up just eating the burger without it because I didn’t enjoy it. The burger itself was delicious. They put a special tag on your order if you specify allergy.
I loved this place the first time I went a year ago. Just went back and they told me , that despite ordering my order gluten and dairy free , the gf buns are made with butter in the dough. Disappointing. Fries are delicious but fried in soybean oil, which I can’t have . The salad was gross and tasted plastic-y. I’d say it’s fine for gf fast / junk food if you can tolerate those things and can have dairy, they seem to be good with cross contamination . Unfortunately it’s not healthier
I ordered takeout. The burger was very good but I got it for an event later in the evening where gf options were not available to the bun was soggy and fell apart easier due to it (not complaining). But overall tasted really good, was convenient, and I had no symptoms later on.
Wow! Might be the best burger I ever had! I got the magic shroom but had cheddar instead of goat cheese. Ah-amazing! Flavors spot on, burger cooked perfect and their GF bun didn’t fall apart in my hands but had wonderful texture. Their fries are perfect too! Two thumbs up!
I had a delicious burger on a salad (they do have gluten-free buns, but I have a number of other allergens) and fries. Everything tasted great, and I felt well after eating. I loved being able to have fries. I felt very confident about their ability to handle all of my allergens. Definitely going to come back here.
Staff made me feel comfortable! GF menu & Nashville location has a dedicated fryer for their fries. I had truffle fries & turned a burger into a salad. Specific to this location the waitress told me the ketchup is gf but that they store their flour on top of it (so did not eat). Had their caffeinated bbq sauce with fries. Felt great/ no symptoms after meal.
FAVORITE burger place in Nashville. Gluten free buns are amazing
Fantastic choice! Parking garage behind. Portions are large and fantastic. Highly recommend you get the burger in the bowl. Any of the burgers can be ordered that way. Basically a gorgeous looking salad with a burger on top with your choice of how it is made. The gluten-free by this pretty good, but just falls apart because it’s more like a biscuit. Truffle fries are fantastic and very sharable!
My mom and I (both celiac) ate here twice on different days with no issues. Once during a slow afternoon and once during a busy dinner rush. I had the goodnight/good cause and the classic. Fries are also safe, we had the regular and the sweet potato fries. The gluten free bun is incredible!! Very tasty. Knowledgeable staff.
I was excited to try this location because of all the great reviews here, and I was craving a burger. I ordered online - a burger wrapped in lettuce and sweet potato fries, and noted the allergy…
The to go pick up was confusing - two different employees asked my name and then disappeared. I saw someone else put down a bag and a small box, which then sat on the counter for 10+ minutes while I stared at it and staff ignored me. Not sure if they were new and confused with the allergy note, but one kept looking at the receipt and then moving bags around and looking at it again.
Anyway, the burger was fine but the fries were cold and not super crispy. Nothing was marked with an allergy flag - which is odd because when I ate at another location in Florida (though I dined in so maybe that’s the difference), everything was marked.
Problem is, I’m definitely having a reaction today, my normal post-cross contamination reaction.
I did receive an email survey a few hours after I left, completed it, and they responded with a voucher for another meal. At this point though, I’m not sure if I trust them? Maybe it’s better ordering in the restaurant than online, but I wasn’t confident that my allergy notes were taken seriously and my reaction today is definitely from this meal alone.
My favorite burger and fries place!! Never have gotten sick here<3 i ordered the llano pablano burger which is always goo. The truffle fries are really yummy. Hot honey sage sweet potato fries and the Buffalo fries are also delishhh!! fries are in seperate fryer so you can have any of the loaded fries on the menu. They have gluten free buns that don’t fall apart too!! Obsessed with this place 😆😆
I’m celiac and I had an amazing experience here! An allergy card was filled out and put with my order that indicated I was celiac. When the waitress brought my food out she told me she watched the kitchen staff change their gloves. Hamburger and fries were amazing. 100% will go back!
I felt safe eating here because of all the positive reviews! When I ordered, I mentioned I have a severe gluten allergy and I’m sensitive to cross contamination. The staff assured me they take precautions to avoid any cross contamination and use a separate fryer for the fries! It’s a nice casual spot but my meal was great and I’d come here again.
I’ve eaten there multiple times and never gotten sick and I’m very sensitive. I always check and the fries are consistently fried in a dedicated fryer. They have a gluten free bun but I usually just do a lettuce wrap because I like it better. The only bummer really is that only 1 of their shakes is gluten free but I wouldn’t eat it anyway since the machine is used to make all the other shakes.
During the ordering process the staff member asked if my request was an allergy and proceeded to enter it as such. GF bun was good and burger was cooked to order. However, when I asked about a designated fryer for the fries, they discussed it among each other and told me that typically they would, but that morning they used it to fry donuts. Apparently they all thought that was hilarious. Needless to say, I skipped the fries and only ate the burger. Yes, the burger was good...but lack of fries and staff behavior would not have me running back to this location.
