I ordered for curbside. I got the GF Bandito with a bison patty, plain fries and a vanilla shake. The burger was tasty and the bun did its best, though it did fall apart after a bit. It tasted great, though. The fries tasted good and it wasn't their fault I waited an hour or so to eat them. If I had eaten them right away they would have been perfect. The shake was actually vanilla flavored, not just a nothing flavor base for other add-ins. Had no probs from gluten. I'll definitely go back. They have a separate GF menu online and they can modify most things to be GF.

Excellent gluten free bun and they have gluten free fry options, also. Some of the sauces are gluten free as well.

Hopdoddy’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin! They have amazing gluten free buns so that any burger can be made gluten free :) delicious milkshakes and truffle fries too!!
UPDATED REVIEW: the gluten free buns and fries are in fact safe, but i had gotten sick because the bun had milk in it, which i wasn’t told the many times i said i have celiac and a dairy allergy.

The staff was knowledge and knew exactly what ingredients had gluten in them. They use a dedicated fryer for the fries and I got my burger on lettuce. It was so delicious even without the bun.
Yes
I got the lettuce wrapped bison burger with fries and it settled well! Will definitely go again!
Gluten free buns fall apart, but are good. Fries are safe!

had the kale salad with a turkey burger, parmesan truffle fries and vanilla shake. fantastic!
The ONLY time I have ever been glutened by a restaurant. I had a burger with no bun, no sauce, 2 "gf" fries, and a margarita. The waiter who brought our drinks spilled some beer into my drink, so I explained the situation and he offered to get me a new drink. My "new" drink came out very quickly, so I think he may have not switched it out. I will not ever go back, too risky.

OMG. I love this place. The buns are fresh made and delicious. I always get the classic hamburger, fries and a doppelgänger doctor pepper. The service is great and I've not been ill as a result of eating here.

They have Gf veggie pattie which is amazing. Their bun is house made. A little crumbly but quite fresh. Way better than store bought buns.
Knowledgable staff great burger and while the gf bun fell apart it was one of the lightest best tasting/ texture bun I've had. Way better than udis crap mist places serve

Probably one of the best burgers I've had in years, and I was thrilled that the fries were made in a dedicated fryer. The staff was very, very knowledgeable and I felt fine after the meal, except for how full I was!
The bun turned to mush. Yes this is common with GF buns, but it's a problem. If someone can't solve it, I'd prefer they just use Udi's buns.
Great options, knowledgeable staff, and safe fries. My favorite local burger joint!
I loved going here until I found out their "non-gluten" buns are made on the same equipment that their regular buns are made on. This is written on the menu and also verified with the manager. The taste was amazing so I gave 3 stars. Would have given 5 but, the non gluten bun was kind of misleading. I guess it's no bun for me, if we ever go back.
Fries are fried separately?? Woohoo! The burger was amazing. Meat cooked perfectly, and the flavors of everything just melted in my mouth. The bun was okay, fell apart a little, but that's just the nature of it. Really can't complain, everything was wonderful.

Excellent burgers, GF buns baked in house, hard cider, and O'mission GF beer.
My son is celiac. We went here the other day. Had a gluten “friendly” menu as well as dedicated fryers. My son likes the burger with the gluten free bun, he said it was 10/10. He did not get sick.

I loved this place the first time I went a year ago. Just went back and they told me , that despite ordering my order gluten and dairy free , the gf buns are made with butter in the dough. Disappointing. Fries are delicious but fried in soybean oil, which I can’t have . The salad was gross and tasted plastic-y. I’d say it’s fine for gf fast / junk food if you can tolerate those things and can have dairy, they seem to be good with cross contamination . Unfortunately it’s not healthier

Food is very good. Dedicated menu for GF food. The roll for my sandwich fell apart, needs to be toasted.

My daughter was so excited to see truffle fries in the gluten free menu! They were amazing! Burgers were fantastic too! We will definitely be back- love that they have a dedicated fryer for fries!

I went here based on the food safety feedback and was really impressed. The food was great, they understood celiac and took precautions to make sure I understood what was and was not GF. I had a regular cheeseburger and fries (thin, crispy, salty, HUGE portion) and my non celiac kids had specialty burgers and their own order of queso fries. Their GF bun is more like a biscuit, but if you go in expecting that you will probably like it. Overall, I felt very safe and would definitely go again when I return to Dallas.
