This is a nice upbeat cool place to meet up with friends, have a soda while they have a beer, and they do have a gluten sensitive menu of items that do not contain gluten. There are a lot of gluten containing items coming from the kitchen so it’s a risk. We did OK with a bunless burger eaten like a steak. But we stayed away from things we knew to avoid like nachos (chips) and the usual culprits.

not Celiac friendly, menu only says Gluten Sensitive. After clearly stating twice about the allergy our waiter did not write it down and we ended up with a sandwich with a regular gluten bun on it when asked about it he went back and found out they were all out of gluten-free which should have been known when we said we had the allergy. I would not go here if you are celiac
No
I would avoid this place like the plague if you have even the slightest bit gluten intolerant. The server had no knowledge of the gluten free offerings, and to make matters worse after serving me a chicken sandwich on a regular bun they sent back the same piece of chicken as if putting it on a gluten free the second time made it alright. If there was a way to rate a restaurant below one star I would have.
No
Not sure where they get their GF buns from, but they are really good. Burger was cooked perfectly and juicy. Only thing missing was I wish the bun was floated or at least toasted - but maybe they don't have a clean place to do it??
Husband had the wings with honey chipotle BBQ sauce. The wings were big and meaty. Husband felt that the sauce was not hot enough. The server graciously had the kitchen remake the wings and helped my husband create his own spicy wing sauce
This was our first visit to a Hurricane Grill & Wings and I would like to comment about the decor. It's decorated with a very island/beachy/tropical feel. The lighting is VERY bright a maybe they are going for the feel of a bright, sunny day at the beach? They play country music and husband and I found the volume to he just a little too loud - we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. Despite this, the service and food were good, so we will be back.
they have gluten free buns, told waitress I had an allergy and gave me fries that were not celiac safe anyways

I eat here regularly! They have gluten sensitive menu and a separate fryer for their wings. The manager always makes me feel very safe when it comes to cross contamination as well.

Our time here was very poor. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to first see us and they did not have GF buns, which they still tried to charge onto our bill. Overall, it is disappointing when you have hopes of eating certain foods and they mess it up/don’t have it available. I wouldn’t go back.

Before sitting, I asked the hostess if they had gluten free, she said yes. Then she handed me a “gluten sensitive” menu. The waitress wasn’t sure if they had separate fryer, etc. she said “their could be cross contamination but it’s gluten free, etc.” I ordered from the GS menu, the Baja fish- which was grilled. But it came w chips on the side and waitress still didn’t know if there was a separate fryer. Manager came over and said there can always be cross contamination but they’ll change gloves if someone’s celiac. Just didn’t seem like their people were trained and I left unsure if I should have eaten or not. (I did) fingers crossed.
