Best fast food chain allergy protocol!! Order "Protein Style” burger (lettuce wrap) or “Flying Dutchman” (no bun/wrap) & let them know you have a gluten/dairy/ etc allergy! They'll take care of the rest: glove change, separate grill, work station, supplies. Fries are also GF. If you order within a group, they bag the allergy order separately than the rest. But you definitely have to say "allergy" ordering it lettuce wrap is not enough to let them know.

The protein style double double is amazing. Fries are great and gluten free. Animal style is the way to go.

Chances of cross contamination exist with the buns but are low unless you are ordering together with other people who are eating with the buns. You can ask to have them put yours in a separate bag and they are good about that.

Who doesn't love In-N-Out!? Definitely Gluten Free Friendly!You can get your burger protein style then no worries! :) and their fries are the only things fried. Yum yum yum!

spoke with manager who assured me they follow precautions, including glove change, separate prep, different spatulas etc but still got glutened.

unfortunately it’s probably impossible to safely eat at in n out consistently despite their attempts at managing CC

Found In-and-out during our trip through California and Nevada. As their protein-style burgers and fries are a no-brainer for gf meals, we went there more than once.

I have never had an issue once telling them it’s a Gluten Allergy. The only gluten in the store is the buns! I was told buns are toasted separately from where the burgers are cooked and the only thing even in the fries is the fries themselves.
