I go to this In N Out at least a couple times a month. I always order the burger protein style burger which means without buns and wrapped in lettuce. To be honest I prefer the lettuce wrap more than most gluten free buns ( most crumble and have the texture of cardboard). I also order the fries that are prepared in a dedicated fryer. I have never had an adverse reaction to this meal. It's pretty darn tasty.

Order "protein style" to get it wrapped in lettuce
I've gone here several times and they always ensure I have a solid GF experience. You must communicate you have a severe allergy and they will change gloves, cutting boards and clear a small area to grill your burger. I even had a staff member let me know that the animal style onions can be a possible source of cross contamination and warned of the potential to get sick. No other INO employee has ever mentioned that until recently and I am forever grateful to him. Now, I order my double double protein style with gluten allergy, without animal style and I have had a great relationship between my belly and their burgers. Always communicate your allergy and ensure it is marked as an allergy and not a preference so they can take the necessary precautions.

I just got some fries, but you could do a burger with a lettuce wrap as well. Nothing else goes in the frier besides fries
