In & Out seems to have trained very well about gluten. At every location, just say Gluten Allergy and they're totally on top of it, they flag your order, call it out to other employees, they all know what to do. SO reassuring. No gluten free bun, but was able to order my burger veggie-style in a lettuce wrap. Some people hate the fries, but I didn’t mind them. Just eat them while they’re hot / fresh. Overall, I had no issues and the food was delicious.

My favorite place for a gluten-free mea! I order my Double-Double “protein-style” which means lettuce-wrapped. The fries are fresh and not fried in contaminated oil. I never feel bad after eating here.

Being from the Midwest I just assumed I wouldn’t be able to eat anything here, the girl taking my order was so nice, answered all of my questions. I had French fries and a milkshake. No gluten at all, great experience

The person who took my order indicated that the fryer is pocket used for French Fries. He added a "gluten allergy" note to both the burger and fries on my ticket. Based on my online research, I expected this to trigger a special protocol including glove changes. I watched the two people making the burgers closely, but didn't see any glove changes. This made me uncomfortable so I discarded my burger. I probably should have asked or even sent it back, but I wasn't prepared to do so in the moment.
