I always get the California club on gluten free bread. And the staff has always been great at helping me by changing gloves and using a fresh sheet of paper as a barrier between the food prep station and my food. There has been a few times where some cross contamination has occurred, but that can occur anywhere that isn’t strictly gluten free.
You can't go wrong with soups, salads, or sandwiches from this place. The food is great and is carefully prepared.
Think they gave regular bread instead of gf. Half a sandwich made me very sick.
Had a good experience here. They state on their menu and website that they have gluten sensitive options and take precautions when someone orders gluten free, but that they are not considered safe for celiacs. Tho I am Celiac and quite sensitive to cross contamination, I decided to risk it, since someone wanted to take us here. I ordered the “nutty mixed up” salad and mentioned I was gluten free. I had no issues and it was delicious! I noticed the salad bar had all the croutons and bread in a separate area than the rest of the salad bar options. I will be coming here again.
