We had great meals at Jason’s Deli. I had the Chicken Club Salad & my husband had the Big Chef Salad. Neither one of us had bacon on our salads since it wasn’t nitrate free. Be sure to order w/o if you have issues with that. The chicken was raised w/o antibiotics, the deli turkey & ham were nitrate free so we liked that. All of their dressings are GF.
They have lots of other options too. Grain bowls, sandwiches, soups, etc.
Pro tip 😋: With any order, you get their soft serve ice cream for free! It’s a serve yourself machine & you can choose from vanilla, chocolate or twist. If it’s a to-go order, you can eat it while you wait.
Edit: We went back a second day & I had the Great Southern Bowl. It was yummy too. I liked the fact that it was delivered in a disposable bowl with a lid to avoid contamination. They changed gloves to make my meal too.
Had a super yummy GF sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. Food was excellent. They gave me saltines in my bag with my soup though, so they werent paying too close of attention. The cashier asked if it was an allergy or preference but never wrote it down..? Also, found a few hairs in my food. Super yummy though.
The gluten free bread for my sandwich was one of the best I've had. A great choice for a GF lunch!
Great sandwiches! Not sure if the salad bar dressing is GF.
They will convert any sandwich on their huge menu into gluten free by exchanging out the bread. So nice to have so much variety. Free ice cream for everyone for dessert means my whole family loves it.
I eat a salad or a bowl at Jason’s about once a month. There is a Gluten Sensitive menu with disclaimers for Celiac. The meal comes with a lid with a gluten sensitive label. I am usually fine after eating there. Once I had slight symptoms that might have been cross contact.
They have a dedicated GF menu which includes chicken tenders (which I never get to have, so it’s a treat) and have always been EXTREMELY careful about my diet
I go here quite often to enjoy the gluten subbed bread on many of their signature sandwich’s. Most of them can be subbed out. As for sides, it’s mostly pre bagged chips or the salad bar (which i tend to steer clear of since there are items such as croutons and such). But i’ve never got sick from them. Usually the staff is very accommodating!
