Disclaimer- I have highly reactive celiac disease and can't handle any cross-contamination. Their 'gluten-sensitive' options are hit and miss if you have celiac- go for the soup, stay away from the bread if cross-contamination is an issue, don't touch the salad bar's toppings- but they do warn you that it's not celiac safe. They have gluten-free bread, but their grill, press, toaster, and even sandwich-making surfaces and knives for cutting them are going to cross-contaminate it. The almonds, sunflower seeds, and the nuts/berries mix are placed directly in front of the croutons, and frequently have croutons in them, so avoid these if you have celiac. Stick to the salad bar and maybe a soup and it's celiac safe.

Definitely would recommend. They offer options galore. It was nice to have someone who was capable of catering to my specific needs. They also have a way of not cross contaminating the sandwiches in their ovens. They are huge BTW so if you have a small stomach like I do. I would recommend half or a Salad or soup. I am definitely coming back again!

Woah, how does a place that makes you sick get a 5 star review?? I also got sick. I agree that they don't understand or even try to keep it safe. What's the point of calling anything gluten free if its not.

The worst Jason I have ever been to. Wanted corn beef sandwich toasted or grilled, but got crumbled pieces of bread. The corn beef was 2 thin slices with lots of fat.

They have GF sandwich bread (either Udi's or Rudi's - I couldn't tell which one she said), so I ordered a GF muffaletta. When the cashier asked if I wanted it toasted, I expressed concern about it being toasted where other breads are toasted, and she assured me it was done separately and would be GF. She was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Enjoyed a gluten free California Club sandwich on Udis bread, with chips and pickle. They did ask if gluten allergy or preference. Charged 59 cents extra for GF bread. They do not have a gluten free toaster, would have given a higher score if they did. I did not have my sandwich toasted. Self service, free vanilla and chocolate soft serve after your meal is a nice bonus. They had a disclaimer on a sticker on sandwich wrap; they do not recommend for celiacs.

I love the gluten free sandwich bread. When I call in the staff is sure to ask if the gluten free bread is a choice or an allergy so they know how to handle it. I also love that they have gluten free cookies by the check out. Sure it's always the same snickerdoodle, but it's good and I like having that option available.

Jason's Deli is a paradox of a business. They make it seem as though they want to serve the gluten free and take care of that customer base, which they deliberately attract. However, upon actually looking into it and attempting to order they as very firm about their lack of allergy sensitive facilities and interest in making accommodations. I wouldn't go again, as I was informed that when the manager is not in the staff do not know about gluten. That being said, the salad I did eat was fine.

They say they have gluten sensitive menu only!! There is a note on bottom of menu saying they are not for people with Celiac disease and restaurant cannot recommend persons with Celiac disease to eat their. I'm glad I saw that note I left, last thing I want too do is get sick. I have gotten really sick from cross contamination.

If you have celiacs, I do not suggest eating at this particular Jason's Deli! Some JD are really good about it, this one not so much. They are not knowledgeable about celiacs/Gluten free! They wear gloves... but they don't change their gloves! They go from making a regular sandwich to making something gluten free with the same gloves!🙄. However, in their defense they will tell you they are "gluten sensitive friendly" before you order, but only if you tell them you have celiacs. I do agree with the other review in that they do seem a bit put back if you question what they are doing while they make your food but in the end try to be accommodating.... I'm guessing only if you are nice. I had to walk them through how to make my salad 🥗 with please change your gloves, get lettuce from the back, open a new bag of chips or just give me a factory closed bag etc... etc... but in the end it was worth it to me even if they were upset because at least I didn't get sick!

Although they are not a completely gluten free facility, and there are the requisite warnings on the menu and packaging, it was a great experience. The manager overheard me ordering and asked if I had celiac, which I do. He offered to personally make my sandwich. Also made sure my bread was safe to be toasted (it wasn't a slot toaster so I felt comfortable). The whole time he took the opportunity to teach the staff about what he was doing and why. One of the best and most comfortable experiences I've had at a "regular" restaurant. Highly recommend!

We arrived and as we ordered we informed the cashier of my son's Celiac. She make a note to change gloves. Etc. However, my husband then viewed a preparer handle his potato, then some pasta, and then put cheese on his potato. We told a manager and they immediately made him a new one including going into the back to get fresh cheese. As a note: their cheese is kept right next to their pasta so they said just make sure we ask each time and they are happy to accommodate.

I've always had good luck, but I usually reinforce when I order that it's an allergy not a lifestyle choice and ask specifically that they change gloves etc. There is a chance for cross contamination since it's not a totally GF kitchen, but that's a risk anytime I eat out, so I think it's worth it! The chicken nuggets are delicious!

Dallas Love Field Airport, 8008 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, TX 75235

I love Jason's deli, but was highly disappointed by this location. First off, I was looking forward to landing in Dallas and going straight to Jason's for a gluten free sandwich. My connection fight from St Louis was supposed to land in Dallas at 4pm. But it was delayed (thanks to the airline giving our plane away to a different flight with mechanical issues!!). So we did not land until 9pm in Dallas. St Louis airport had zero GF options except for raw almonds at the gift shop. As soon as I got off the plane in Dallas, headed straight to Jason's. It was about 9:10. Asked the lady at the counter for a gluten free sandwich, and she told me "sorry, we just closed". Didn't say anything else. People were still making food behind the counter. Are you kidding? Told her I didn't get lunch OR dinner today, due to crappy choices in St Louis airport, and delayed flight. Didn't seem to phase this chick. So on my departure flight two days later, headed again to Jason's, for lunch. It was 11am. After asking for a gluten free sandwich, the lady at the counter said "sorry, we don't have gluten free bread at this location". Wow. So yet another traveling day with no food options, since Jason's was my only hope. Totally let down by them. Only safe and healthy option was a small fruit cup at a ridiculous price. Just for the heck of it, I asked the lady what time they close at night. She said that closing time "just depends". Depends on when the last flight is. She said it could be 9:00, could be 10:00. That pissed me off even more, since the people on this flight were already royally screwed over by the 5 hour delay. (I missed a business dinner, and I heard another business traveler say she completely missed the whole reason for her business trip to Dallas...needed to be there in the afternoon, but we didn't arrive til way after that event was done.) I really really hope the airline doesn't screw up again for my connection in St Louis. If so, I'll be starving just as much today as I did on my inbound flight. Fun, fun, fun being a Celiac and traveling. Nuts and fruit snacks in my carry on bag only sustain for so long...
