Had a good experience here. They state on their menu and website that they have gluten sensitive options and take precautions when someone orders gluten free, but that they are not considered safe for celiacs. Tho I am Celiac and quite sensitive to cross contamination, I decided to risk it, since someone wanted to take us here. I ordered the “nutty mixed up” salad and mentioned I was gluten free. I had no issues and it was delicious! I noticed the salad bar had all the croutons and bread in a separate area than the rest of the salad bar options. I will be coming here again.
They are not dedicated gluten free, but have always been very careful with cross-contamination. I’ve eaten here probably 50x and never been sick. I am very sensitive to cross contamination. Food comes in marked gf containers. Any sandwich can be made on gf bread. Kids’ chicken tenders are also gf.
Jason's Deli cannot guarantee there is no cross-contamination. This place may be gluten sensitive but not gluten free!
This place is the bomb! They use Udi's gluten free bread, upon request. Sandwiches are all delicious. Been here about 10 times and never once had a reaction. Staff is super helpful.
They seem very knowledgeable about gluten and cross-contact. When you order, they ask if it's an allergy. They seem to take extra measures to make sure there is no cross-contact by changing gloves and not using the press. I always order their chicken panini or Santa Fe chicken panini on gluten free bread and have never had a reaction. They put the sandwich in a separate to go box with a gluten free sticker on it, even if you eat in. As a bonus, if you eat in you can get free ice cream!
