Normally a great GF place to eat. But they, like other restaurants, have fallen victim to the strained staff pandemic. Very disorganized and clueless staff. Hopefully, things will get better.

CC nightmare. I ordered a turkey (just the meat) on udis sandwich bread. The cook came out to tell me he couldn’t guarantee my food would be safe but he would change his gloves and make it off to the side. there was a warning label on the outside of the box saying “good for gluten intolerant people not for celiacs” there was some sort of parsley or something just around wheeler he cut the sandwich so I figure he used a dirty knife and I’m going to get sick. I was really worried but over an hour away from home and my blood sugar was getting super low.

We've eaten at Jason's other places and this one is just as delicious! My wife ate gluten-free and didn't have any trouble at all.
Jason's is one of my staple go-to's. Delicious, family friendly, never disappoints. I've been to most locations across Hampton Roads and this is by far my favorite.

They take precautions to avoid cross contamination and will make your sandwich in a separate area. Just be sure to let them know you have celiac or a gluten allergy. Sandwiches were very good.

They are very conscious of gluten sensitivities. They do have an entire section of the menu that is gluten free,. I asked if they substitute a sandwich from the regular menu to be made with gluten free bread, they accommodated and without me having to ask immediately washed hands and changed gloves. Only one employee handled my food and used new utensils while doing so.
