I love this place. The first thing the waiter asked was if anyone had any allergies. They had gluten free bread and buns. They had gluten free flat bread pizza. The menu was marked for gf and vegan. The food was amazing and the staff was definitely open and accommodating. Overall, this place was amazing.

American Joe's restaurants are hands down one of mg favorite places for GF/dairy-free meals. They offer an extensive GF menu, GF options on their specials menu, pUdi's bread products, GF penne and dedicated fryers. The staff and management are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about allergies. I've eaten at this location 30+ times with only one incident, which I was able to detect when the meal was served. I've never been sick after eating here, and would recommend this location to anyone with a gluten allergy/celiac!

Previously had good experiences with good food. During our last visit, we discovered a regular noodle in Our gluten free pasta dish. The Manager could not explain how it got there but was apologetic. Thankfully my kid noticed it before eating. May not go there again.

No gluten free menu but very knowledgeable, they can pretty much make anything on the menu GF (including pastas and pizza). Very good, great service.

Had my birthday dinner there last night after reading the reviews here. I was impressed to see how knowledgeable the staff was. They pretty much can do everything GF. GF buns, GF pasta, dedicated fryer. I had the Filet with sweet potatoe fries and spinach. And they got me the creme brulee as birthday dessert. Everything was delicious, I highly recommend it 😁

I read great reviews about this place, so we decided to try it. I was not disappointed, our server was so knowledgeable and the manager even came over several times to answer all our questions about the menu. They were very careful and the rolls were delicious.

Great! So many gf options. GF buns. Separate fryer for fries. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Weird thing is - no gf menu or even gf notes on menu - BUT they are as GF friendly as any place I have been. Normally no menu - we are out - but comments here on this site convinced me to give it a shot- glad we did!

My first 2 times here, I had an excellent GF experience. The next few times, the wait staff had trouble understanding what I needed for gluten free options. The last time, the waiter assured me there was no such thing as gluten free- when I asked him to speak to the chef, he immediately returned with recommendations. They need more consistent training. The food has been very good, but if I am put in the position of potential cross contamination, I am not willing to accept a crap shoot.

Server was extremely helpful in navigating options. The gluten-free roll was very tasty. Decent GF pizza but it isn't a replacement for the real thing

Very knowledgeable. Separate fryer for GF. Was clearly aware of cross contamination. Have GF bread but I didn’t try it. Had the Cobb salad. All good. Hostess mentioned how her friend is celiac and goes there all the time. Felt very safe.

My go to place for a good lunch or dinner. In my experience they have been super cautious with gluten free and even have a dedicated fryer. They have gluten free alternatives to almost everything on the menu.

We were disappointed. After reading these great reviews, we went here. When asking our waitstaff, who checked with kitchen/manager, they said bread is pressed on the grill, so could have cross contamination for steak and other grilled items. She said salad was safest. While it was good, we were looking forward to the burger.
