Love the food and their attention to staying Gluten Free. The GF toast is amazing!!!
❤️I LOVE this place!! I have celiac’s and had a great experience at Le Peep!! Great service, cute place, affordable and they have the most extensive GF menu I’ve ever seen! I got the GF waffles combo! Soooooo delicious and truly GF!
Amazing gf menu, best waffles and pancakes!!
great place. my friend works here and said they do great job with c.c. even has a gluten free toaster and gluten free waffle iron !!
A long time favorite place to eat. Many GF options. This is the best breakfast place!
Love this place! Dedicated waffle iron, great potatoes awesome staff
This is the perfect example of an unsafe space where there seems to be a desire to offer choices on the menu to food sensitive people but the cross contamination alone will take you down. Not really knowledgeable. We said Gluten/Soy/Corn Free and that didn’t go over well. Decided to leave to protect ourselves. Seems like nice enough peeps but we simply can’t risk our well being. I would avoid this restaurant to be safe.
Visited here because I knew they had a gluten-free menu and have eaten at other locations. When I asked the waitress for a gluten-free menu, she told me they didn’t have one and that the only gluten-free items were waffles and English muffins. She didn’t seem to understand that gluten can be in other things. I had to look up the gluten-free menu on my phone. At least I did not get sick.
Very celiac friendly. Pancakes/Waffles are huge so be prepared when ordering a stack. Waitress was very thorough about gluten free items and all that was available for my daughter to eat. Syrup was even gf. Fresh fruit, potatoes, etc... Prices are great. I highly recommend this place if you are in Frisco or surrounding area.
I had a chicken sandwich which was served on a tortilla. It would have been nice to be notified that my sandwich wasn’t actually on bread. It was horrible. My two friends who do not have gluten allergies also had horrible sandwiches. The staff was extremely nice.
When I went here one morning for breakfast I ordered my food as usual and when they brought it out the waitress told me it was gluten free when I got home I started feeling ill then after about 10 minutes I started feeling all the symptoms of when I eat gluten, then I threw up. Granted it was a very busy morning but as one of the highest rated gluten free places in my area I would expect more, never visiting again, don’t go here on a busy day.
great food. Though I do believe I've been cross contaminated twice. :( I wasn't super sick the second time but the first time I was sick for 2 weeks it was so bad. stil amazing people, service, view and food. just be cautious. I can't eat here again :(
The stuffed French toast is the best we've ever had! So thankful for their GF menu. Most servers are knowledgeable and the cooks do their best to accommodate. The atmosphere can be a bit loud when the place is full but the food is totally worth it!
We had an awful experience. Literally NOTHING went well or came to the table correctly. Ingredients from one order were out on a different order, things that should have been left off came to the table. Absolutely no confidence in our orders.
The GF bread options are waffles and engligh muffins. Didn't try the english muffin, but the waffle had a somewhat bitter aftertaste. However, strong potential for cross contamination as they use the same waffle maker and toaster for the regular and gf options. Waitress was knowledgeable and able to give accurate information.
No longer have a gluten free menu, though they do offer some gluten free options. The only 'extra' items that are gluten free are the waffles, which have a dedicated fryer. The meat and eggs are all cooked on separate grills than the gluten items.
The food was delicious and huge portions! The Manager was very informed about Celiac and took great measures to make sure my waitress knew I had Celiac and that the kitchen staff knew as well. I felt so comfortable eating here. First time since being diagnosed in a year that I didn't worry about getting gluten in my food.
This restaurant has been a good option for my Celiac daughter in the past. However, today is the second time my daughter has gotten sick here from cross contamination. When reported to the manager she claims she is doing everything to prevent cross contamination, however the cooks are clearly not. Don't eat here unless you are ok getting sick.
They have a gluten free menu or so they said, but everything on it was gluten "sensitive." They even have a disclaimer at the bottom of the menu saying that it is not a gluten free environment so if you are worried about cross contamination I wouldn't go. They don't have gluten sensitive pancakes anymore so I got the waffle but they didn't know if the syrup was gluten free or not... kind of important since most syrup does in fact have gluten. My stomach didn't feel the best when I left, but I guess it's up to you and how sensitive your stomach is.
I have never gotten sicker than at Le Peep. I got the only thing that I thought would be safe, the breakfast tacos. Was sick before I left and for weeks afterwards. Also I thought that the prices are pretty high. I see all the other reviews are good. I am glad to know that not everyone is as sensitive as I am to gluten. If you are a super sensitive Celiac do not eat here. Go down Fairview to the Gluten Free store and get something there. :)
