The food was good. I wasn’t sick after. I do have one complaint. It’s interesting that they have a gluten-free menu but do not serve the pancakes and waffles with gluten-free syrup. I ordered a waffle and was given a pre-packed cup of syrup that was not gluten-free. When I brought this to the attention of the wait staff I was told that the syrup that I was served was in fact gluten-free, it was not. All I had to do was quickly Google it to see the ingredients. Luckily I trusted my gut and didn’t use it, but this is pretty neglectful and dangerous to offer as a gluten-free option when it’s clearly not.
I must've gone on a bad day because I did not have the great experience all the other reviewers did. I will say this though as a positive, the selection is good and the food is solid, it's worth going to just for that, but barely. The mocha was terrible though, fwiw.
First, we waited for about five minutes to be seated. It was not busy, this was maybe 10:00 on a Thursday. They did not ask me if we needed a gluten free menu when I walked in and I didn't hear them ask anyone else. I think we waited another ten minutes for a waiter to come by. She did not notice we had the gluten free menus which would've been nice but not an issue. After getting our food I had to wait another ten minutes to get my GF English muffin, and that was only after we flagged her down and my wife was already done with her meal. We waited another five minutes after I finished to be given the check. I'm not a local so I probably won't eat here again anyway, but based on the service alone it would be tough for me to choose to go here again even if I lived here.
Entire gluten free menu print out! We got the stuffed French toast and the lobster omelette, EXCELLENT. It was hard to choose because everything looked delicious and there were so many options! The staff was very attentive and it’s a very cute atmosphere. Recommend 100% and would go back!
I got breakfast here for the first time and I was very impressed! They have a whole gluten free menu and ask you if anyone needs one right when you sit down so you don’t even have to ask. The GF menu is just as long as the normal menu, so that was really nice to have so much to choose from. I got the stuffed French toast and it was soooo good! It didn’t come with any sides which is kind of a bummer, but it was still amazing. It wasn’t super filling on its own though, so I would probably order something else next time. The server also seemed very aware of celiac and told me she would put a note on my order to let the cooks know. Overall, great taste, decent pricing and lots of options. Highly recommend!
So good! I’ve never been to a place where the first thing they asked before seating us was does anyone need a GF menu? So kind. I went crazy here w two entrees: eggs bene and stuffed French toast. Both were phenom and our waitress was a dream! Really good mimosas too the orange juice was dang fresh
I have enjoy tasty options from LePeep many times. They have knowledgeable staff and great options. I have loved their eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast, & Belgium waffles. Our daughter was hospitalized and they even prepared her favorite meal (on the house) for her during that scary time. It’s a great option for gluten free but I love them even more because they care about people within our community.
We’ve never had an issue with our meals and I am sensitive to cross contamination.
One of things that I am greatly missed since being diagnosed with celiac was waffles. Le Peep not only makes these but makes them gluten free. This place is very safe and I enjoyed that the waiter asked if any of us needed a gluten free menu. This is very nice because I always feel awkward having to ask for one. They were very friendly and kind to my condition and brought out my food and even gave me dedicated gluten free syrup. I got the gluten free waffles with bacon and eggs and they even gave my potatos.
This place is amazing! When they greeted us, the first thing they asked was if we need a gluten free menu (which was HUGE, by the way). I ordered an Eighteen Wheeler (2 pieces of GF french toast, 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of various meat options) and the waitress confirmed our gluten free orders before taking it to the kitchen. There was a toothpick in each of the gluten free items to mark them. The food was absolutely amazing! I think this will be my new go-to place because of how many options they have and, more importantly, how much effort they put into making sure people don't get sick!
We didn’t have a great experience. We called for pickup and I ordered the 18 wheeler with gf French toast. When we got there the receipt did not say gf. I asked and they said there was no bread in the 18 wheeler but it has French toast. I told her that and she checked again and fixed it. The manager came out and apologized but it added 20 minutes to our trip.
Edit to add: food was subpar and the French toast lacked any flavor. I was not impressed at all.
Chef’s kiss- first words out of their mouth were “Welcome! do you guys need a gluten free menu?” I knew we were gonna be taken care of. I had no issues with reactions, I got a scramble with bacon, potatoes and gf toast. The potatoes were incredible. Coffee was good. Overall I would come back with my celiac sister, mom and niece happily.
I ate here in Sep 2023. The staff were very conscientous and understanding.
The hostess asked me if I needed a gluten free menu before I said anything about my Celiac Disease.
I had 2 breakfasts.
I did not have a reaction after either one.
Based on my experiences, this location is safe for persons with Celiac Disease.
I have been to Le Peep several times and the owner has been there every time! She always walks around to check in everyone and their experience. This time my husband and I went there for a Valentine’s Day breakfast. I am gluten free because of an intolerance and I’ve never had any issue with a reaction of any sort I favor the stuffed French toast and caramel macchiato which are both on the gluten free menu :) I even had to snap a picture of my coffee this time because it was the most picture perfect one!
Absolutely amazing! My husband and I both have celiac and haven’t had a full gluten free breakfast like this in years. We both got the 18 wheeler which came with French toast, meat, eggs, and hash browns/or potato’s. If we ever come back through we will for sure stop in. The ladies working were so sweet and helpful and the food was cheap!
Amazing! We were asked when we walked in if we wanted the regular menu or the GF menu. We ended up going every morning of our trip. Delicious!
Loved that they asked about gluten free right when you walk in. Stuffed French toast was bland and had no real maple syrup just the fake stuff. I would probably get an omelet or eggs Benedict if I were in the area again for breakfast. Love that they support our GF community! Check out the blip on the top right about Amanda the celiac HR VP
the BEST gluten free breakfast i’ve had. the gluten free belgian waffle and gluten free eggs benedict were so good they tasted real. as soon as we walked in the hostess asked if we needed gluten free menus (which caught us by such a surprise). the waitress was extremely knowledgeable and recommended her favorite gluten free items to us. the gluten free menu is very lengthy and has so many amazing options for breakfast lunch and dinner :) definitely coming back here again when we are in town
Overall it was a nice little restaurant relaxing atmosphere with delicious gluten free and dairy free options! Unfortunately they took forever on my order and messed up my food...the gluten free sandwich bread is a flatbread I’m guessing it was vegan flavor was good but it was chewy and stale my jaw hurt! It probably wasn’t fresh? Anyways the juicy bacon made up for it I’m giving it another try but I’m ordering something else hopefully I’ll be there earlier in the morning. Anyways glad this place exists!
Eaten here a couple times in the last few months. They have MANY options, which is so nice. And the food is delicious.
Great experience. They staff was very knowledgeable. Even have waffles!!
The staff here was amazing! They had a dedicated gluten free menu! I had the Stuffed French Toast it was the best I ever had! My husband had the Corned Beef and Hash cooked to perfection!!! I recommend this place to anyone!
Super. The separate gluten free menu had many options. I had avacado toast with salmon and it was tasty….and most importantly didn’t make me sick. I had a taste of my Hubby’s GF belgian waffle with eggs and fresh fruit. That was good too
I go here very regularly (enough that the staff know what I am going to order before I tell them) and the food is good and service is friendly and knowledgeable. Gluten free waffle is my favorite. You aren’t stuck with just eggs. The gluten free English muffin is also tasty. It can get a bit busy, especially on Tuesdays which are double loyalty stamp day but I can usually get in and out within an hour.
