Fantastic seafood. They still have gluten free fish n chips and gluten free calamari. They have a dedicated fryer. It’s not listed on the menu, but order the signature fish n chips gf and I didn’t get sick. Great service.
They used to be great for celiac GF eaters, unfortunately they just added a beer batter fried fish to their menu ( not gf beer) Which now cross contaminated their frier so the fried options (french fries) are off limits
I, unfortunately have a shellfish allergy to go along with celiac. I asked if the chef could make something off menu for lunch and was immediately told by the server that it would be fine. And it was absolutely delicious! This was our first time dining in at a restaurant since before the pandemic hit and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable.
Could be the most comfortable I’ve felt in a restaurant. When you tell them you’re GF the manager instantly gets involved and makes sure everything is taken care of. Delicious GF fried shrimp!
I had lunch here today with my daughter’s, who both have Celiac. They brought them GF rolls, which made us so happy. There were a ton of choices, including fries. Our waitress brought out my food and let me know that only the manager could bring out the gluten free food. We felt very safe here and plan on returning frequently.
Everything they fry is gluten free because their fryer is all gluten free. Great fried calamari. They have gf rolls if you ask for them. Knowledgeable staff. A very safe place and experience for those with celiac. I have never gotten sick.
I thought I would have to give up fish and chips forever but at Legal they were GF and delicious!! Only deducted points because they did not have GF rolls that day
Many gluten free items. Let wait staff know you are Celiac. Gluten free rolls are served warm and are very good!
My all time favorite place so much to choose from if you enjoy seafood. So safe and clean all wait staff aware of food allergies and very accommodating!

They bring GF bread before your meal upon request. I had a lobster roll on GF bread. It was really delicious. I loved Legal Seafood before getting diagnosed with celiac. Now I love it even more. The waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. Love this place.
My kids and I had the best meal here! They brought out complimentary GF rolls (delicious!) and had many good options for dinner. My son was able to get a kid's burger on a GF bun with French fries, and their chocolate pudding cake was to die for.
Amazing! We had the beef burger, the fried calamari, light clam chowder soup, and the chocolate dessert. Everything was great and they have complementary gluten free buns!!!!delicious. I will be back soon. I will post pictures.
Just ate here and it's now a favorite. To be able to eat gf fried foods and get gf rolls???? Unheard of. So delish!
I have always had a great dining experience at Legal Seafood. Their GF rolls are fantastic! The servers are knowledge about the GF choices on the menu and the manager brings the GF meal separately.
They now have the GF items identified on the regular menu, so no need to ask for a separate menu anymore.
I always feel safe here. GF dinner rolls are too delicious, though. Nice to eat chowder and calamari. GF dishes are always delivered by the manager, too. They do it right!
I felt safe eating here. Very knowledgeable just not my favorite restaurant.
one of the best chain gf places. a manager reviews every gf order. the gf options are actually broader than the gf menu suggests: the can make gf fries (pan fried), they can gf bread and fry any fish as well as make gf fried fish bites for kids. they have fresh baked gf dinner rolls and even gf croutons for salads. only caveat is the fried fish all contain dairy due to the breading process.
Loved it!!!!! The staff were so helpful and is the server didn't know an answer to a GF question they would consult with the chef. They had delicious GF rolls so I wasn't just sitting there watching everyone eat their delicious bread. A lot of options and the food was excellent!!!

Delicious fried fish and amazing staff, never have I ever interacted with such kind people at the airport before. No gluten free bread/buns for the sandwiches but the fish was amazing nonetheless!!
Went for a business dinner where a member of the party was also GF and we were so excited they had a dedicated fryer! French fries and Fried Calamari were so good and safe to eat! What a pleasant surprise!
As always, very knowledgeable about GF and can modify anything. GF frier, batter for fried fish (fish & chips!!) is GF. Added bonus, did take away because we didn’t have much time and it came out in less than 10 mins. Pricey (even more so for the airport) but worth it.

I can’t recommend this restaurant to any celiacs. After talking at length about the gluten free options, the meal started well with gf bread and fried calamari. However, we got to the main course, ordered everything gluten free including the lobster roll and fish and chips. I was so excited to have so many options on the menu marked gluten free.
Our food came, I took one bite of the lobster roll and knew the bread was too good to be true. I confirmed with the waiter that it was, in fact, not gluten free. After some time in the restroom and some tears, I had to leave early. This weekend is not going to be a fun time in Boston after all.
The restaurant needs to improve their communication with the kitchen, use markers on gluten free meals so no one makes this mistake again.
