Wat een fijn en mooi restaurant, echt super veilig aanpgezien ze een aparte keuken hebben voor glutenvrij. De glutenvrije producten worden op andere kleur borden aangeboden dan de glutenvolle producten. Vriendelijk bediening. Alles perfect.

Absolutely incredible experience here. The best GF pizza I’ve ever had. And the truffle ravioli was fantastic. We came back a second time before leaving Florence because it was so delicious. Extremely knowledgeable waitstaff. Very careful about cross contamination. Highly recommend this place!

We loved it. They were very careful and had gluten free pasta. I order porcini mushroom sauce and the mushrooms were canned su guess not the season. They color code the plates and are very careful and friendly.

We walked 30 minutes to get here and there was a sign on the door saying they are closed until February 6th. Just wanted others to know to save you the trip
Absolutely amazing restaurant and experience. The food was so good, the service was excellent and the wait staff were exceptionally nice and knowledgeable. If you’re in Florence you have to eat here.

Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free. There is no separate menu, everything other than a handful of desserts can be made gluten free. The staff is knowledgeable, the food was delicious and it was brought out to me on separate colored plates than my gluten friends. I got the bread with olive oil, carbonara and tiramisu. I’m so glad I stopped!

I have grown up in Florence and recently diagnosed with coeliac. This restaurant is amazing for traditional fiorentine food for all the family - the whole menu can be either normal or GF. They use separate plates and cutlery for GF and have separate pizza oven and kitchen area. Amazing, good priced food in the centre of Florence - not touristy but full of Italians and locals!

All I can say is WOW! Every single dish I had was made with an abundance of love and care; it felt like I was eating at my Nonna’s. Exceptional food, I had the gf truffle ravioli and tiramisu. I will going back again tomorrow night, an absolute must to go visit this restaurant!!!!

Very good! They were very accommodating to a large party and were kind to our group as it was our first day in Italy and were still getting used to the customs/language. Our waiter was very patient as she tried to understand my allergies and menu requests.

My family had a spectacular dinner here. The waitstaff was very helpful and accommodating. The GF pizza was the best we have had so far. The pasta was amazing. All GF options are served on a separate color plate. It makes the entire restaurant aware. The rest of the family who is not GF had amazing meals. We will be back here. Desserts were delicious.

Felt very safe here but I wouldn't get anything except the pizza. As another review stated, the bread really isn't good. Our soups weren't either. But the pizza was pretty darn awesome. Just order that!

Have to be honest, the Gluten free food tasted terrible. The bread was a prepackaged bread that was so dry that it tasted like chalk in my mouth. The pasta tasted like a microwaveable meal from the freezer section of a grocery store. My husband got the steak and said it was the worst steak he’s ever had. I don’t recommend this establishment.

Incredible food. Reasonably priced. Ambience was impeccable, they played smooth jazz. It was nice and cool in the restaurant (indoor seating with A/C). The staff was also nice as well.
We kept coming back to this place during the trip, it was that great. The second time around, our waitress recommended the gluten free truffle ravioli. It was so amazing, a must order!!
The restaurant had locals and tourists in it. It was such a gem of a place. Highly recommend!

Ristorante Lorenzo De Medici exceeded all the expectations we could imagined. During our first night in Florence, we stumbled across this restaurant due to the "Find Me GF" app.
We were so amazed at the food and service quailty, that we proceeded to come back for the next two nights as well.
This restaurant offers gluten free options that were so unbelievably good my husband couldnt tell the difference. All the pastas and pizzas are homemade dough and the taste and quality shows.
The truffle ravoli was to die for. We will dream about it for the rest of our lives. We ordered it 2 times.
The creamy tortellini was unreal.
We ordered a tbone steak another evening, and the table side service made the experience even more incredible. This florentine steak was the best steak we have ever eaten. Period.
The pizza and the calzonè were soft, chewy and ultimately indescribable.
The chocolate soufflè was simply dreamy.
Everything we ate was gluten free and we will dream about this restaurant for the rest of our lives.
Hopefully one day we can make the trip back to Florence specifically to eat at Ristorante Lorenzo De Medici. 10/10 recommend!!!

Great Restaurant. Everything on the main menu was available Gluten Free. My wife is a Coeliac and a vegetarian and there were lots of options. For me, the Steak Florentine was certainly one of the best I've ever had at an amazing price. Give them a run.

Amazing restaurant near the Basilica di San Lorenzo. Extremely friendly staff, delicious food, good quality wines. What's best is that almost everything on the menu is available gluten-free. Pasta, pizza, you name it. They even have beer. Their advertisement outside the place says they have world champion gf pizza. And probably this is not an exaggeration, because it was delicious. Crust was a bit on the crispy side. I prefer a bit softer cornicione but it was not bad by any means. They make it traditionally, in a wood-fired pizza oven, as it should be. If you have issues with gluten, and even if you don't, this is a place you must visit in Florence if you wish to have a nice lunch/dinner.

This is an AIC restaurant (certified celiac practices for the kitchen). My gnocchi came out on a separate colored plate - it was very good. My husband and I were both craving protein so we both had the grilled chicken and ordered side of veggies and side of roast potatoes. It was all very good. There isn’t a separate gluten free menu because the entire menu can be made gluten free - just ask for the gluten free version when ordering!

Wow. I was shocked at this place after so many good reviews. The server Angelo was terrible. Rude, and not helpful. Like serving us as one of 4 tables in the place was a large inconvenience. The tables near the wine wall are fruit fly infested. So bad the tables nearest moved. We ordered wine, it never came. The gluten free bread is terrible. The regular bread never came. Everyone’s Meals were served at different times so either wait and your eating cold food or stay without others having their food. Worst experience we’ve had in our Amy Italian travels and we come here often to visit family.

Absolutely amazing, so delicious! The entire menu is gluten free, with homemade pasta made in-house, and the entire selection constructed of quality ingredients.
Staff were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable of allergies. The owner of this restaurant’s wife, according to their restaurant history, has celiac.
We had the white beans (simple, creamy, delicious), a salad, bruschetta, a red sauce and sausage pasta, truffle pasta, and Gorgonzola and walnut pasta. Everything was perfect (with our favorite being the truffle past - portions are perfect size/large :) ). As well as a few glasses of Chianti Classico. A must-see for anyone and everyone in Florence!

I really liked this restaurant and went twice during my trip. Lots of things to choose from and lactose free options too - I had the steak and roasted potatoes, and the other time we got GF pizzas. Great dough and toppings. A bit pricey but that’s to be expected for the location (and the traditional steak) and I was happy with the quality, so would certainly recommend!

Such a delight! I felt completely safe having a GF pizza, tomato salad, and a pistachio semifreddo. My husband ate lasagna (with gluten, although they make a GF version) and a GF strawberry cheesecake. We are only here 3 nights, and I’m already planning my return before we leave!

My daughter is celiac and also has a mobility disability. When we got to the restaurant the waiter who was very rude, would not let us put her Walker at the table (completely out of the way) but grabbed it and moved it well into the restaurant. Then he and another waiter made fun of her for using a mini fan in 90 degree heat. Being celiac was an inconvenience to him as well. He could tell we were unhappy with his behavior and brought all of (which includes two underage teens) limoncello shots. Pizza was just okay too.
