Went here on a whim since I saw some good reviews about it and had a wonderful experience! It is really cute, in a good area, and was not packed on a week night. The staff were all extremely nice and took precaution when told about my allergy. Overall, the food was excellent, had the GF deep dish as well as some chicken wings which were made to be gluten free. I will definitely come here again when I am back in town!
In my 12 years of being gluten free, I have eaten more gluten free pizza than you can imagine. Some of them tasted OK and some of them did not. This is the first gluten free pizza I have eaten that was delicious. We ordered the deep dish pizza, and I was concerned with the size when it arrived. We can usually polish off an entire pizza between the two of us, but we actually had leftovers to take home. The leftovers were delicious too. We also ordered the smaller salad that was listed as gluten free. It was huge, and very good. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful.
I called and spoke to the manager about the safety of celiac disease dining. He strongly advised against someone with celiac disease dining there. He said flour is constantly in the air in the kitchen. He said they have a gluten free crust but the toppings are exposed to gluten. The same for salads and toppings. I appreciated his advice.
Our server was amazing and really understood celiac. He took time to explain how they have GF dedicated panda for both deep and think crust pizzas. All the kitchen staff switches gloves and they have a separate area where they make and roll their GF dough so there isn’t any cross contamination. I felt reassured that I would be safe eating there. I really enjoyed my deep dish GF pizza and cannot wait to go again. Their GF crust in my opinion was wonderful but I can see who others may not like the thickness or that’s it’s a crispy crust and not fluffy. My family said their Non GF one was the same and they also really enjoyed it.
