THIS LOCATION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
GF items are clearly marked. A little pricy, but food was delicious! Be sure to try the squeaky cheese.

Order the calamari! You will not be disappointed! I think this is one of the best places in Lexington for a nice, gluten-free dinner!

Lots of options and cool space.
Clearly marked gluten free options on the menu and knowledgeable staff! Everything I've eaten here has been delicious (but not cheap). Edit: love this place! I have eaten their shrimp, calamari, fish and chips, tacos, deviled eggs, Brussels sprouts and have NEVER felt sick!

Delicious! Staff knowledgeable. Checked with chef when unsure about an item.
I ate fish & chips which were notated GF and I told the server I was GF but I was sick before I left the restaurant. :( :(
It was our first time dining at Louie's and the experience was fantastic! Our waitress was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, which is always a plus when you are entirely gluten intolerant. The food was amazing and the number of gluten free appetizers and entree options was plentiful. The only thing I would suggest is to add a second gf dessert option... other than that, we will be frequenting Louie's!
This was really cool place. Their atmosphere was not quite as uppity as I expected (which was very relieving honestly). Their whole menu was labeled GF for gluten free and GF2 for items they could modify to be such. I had a pork chop that was great! But my favorite part of my meal was the patatas bravas potatoes served as a side...incredible!

Lots of GF options. Knowledgeable server. And Wine!!!
Great place with very knowledgeable staff. Lots of GF options including fish and chips. So far I've had the cheese curds and fish and chips. Both were excellent.

First time visiting, menu identified items that were or could be made gluten free. Many options. We ordered the pork gnocchi using gluten free noodles and loved it. We will go back again.

My husband took our oldest daughter, who is a very sensitive celiac, for a Valentines date tonight. She was vomiting two hours later (her usual gluten response) and has now been vomiting for close to two hours. VERY disappointed and disheartening. We were so excited to potentially have another safe place to eat but we will never take our girls there again.

want to come back to try more as I only had a few appetizers - but tons of GF options, dedicated fryer, and fun atmosphere. I’m a super super sensitive celiac and had no issues; I tried the brussel sprouts (some bites really good, some bites just okay) and the fried curds - delicious!!

I am a very sensitive Celiac and I had no problems at Louie's. Our waitress was a Celiac herself, so she assured me that it was safe for me to eat there. She said that when she put gluten free on our order she had to specify it was for an allergy and not a preference. I would recommend reminding your waiter/waitress to do that, if you have an allergy. Their menu is clearly marked and you need to ask if their fryer is separate or shared, apparently it isn't all the time. I had the spinach artichoke dip, butternut squash salad and chicken piccata with no issues. I would say this restaurant is very safe for Celiacs.
